2017 Hammarby Fotboll Season
The 2017 season was Hammarby Fotboll's 102st in existence, their 48th season in Allsvenskan and their 3rd consecutive season in the league. They competed in Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen during the year. League play started in early April and lasted until early November. Jakob Michelsen made his first season as manager. Summary In the off-season, on 18 November 2016, the board chose to sack manager Nanne Bergstrand, citing "a need to get a new voice and new energy into the club's sporting development". Later the same month, Jakob Michelsen was announced as the successor. He joined the club on a three-year deal from the Danish club SønderjyskE. The team had a disappointing run in the 2016-17 Svenska Cupen, getting knocked out in the group stage following a 0–1 away loss against Östersunds FK in a deciding fixture. Hammarby Fotboll
Hammarby IF Fotbollförening, more commonly known as Hammarby Fotboll or Hammarby ( or, especially locally, ), is a Swedish football club from Stockholm founded in 1915. The club is based at Tele2 Arena in Johanneshov but founded in the neighbouring Södermalm district of Stockholm City Centre, an area the club considers its heartland. Östersunds FK
Östersunds Fotbollsklubb, commonly known simply as Östersunds FK, Östersund () or (especially locally) ÖFK, is a Swedish professional football club located in Östersund, Sweden and since 2022 play in the Swedish second tier, Superettan. The club was formed in 1996 as a merger of several Östersund clubs. The club is affiliated with the Jämtland-Härjedalens Fotbollförbund and play their home games at Jämtkraft Arena. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are red and black, predominantly in stripes and with red shorts and socks. Idrottsföreningen Brommapojkarna, more commonly known as Brommapojkarna (meaning ''the Bromma boys'') or simply BP, is a Swedish football club located in the borough of Bromma, in the western parts of Stockholm municipality. Imad Khalili ( ar, عماد خليلي; born 3 April 1987) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or a striker. He is the assistant coach of Hammarby IF in Allsvenskan. Club career Breakthrough At age five, Khalili began playing football at the local club Högaborgs BK. He made his senior debut for the side in 2002, aged 16, and attracted interest from several big clubs around Europe. Oscar Krusnell
Oscar Krusnell (born 17 February 1999) is a Swedish footballer who plays for IF Brommapojkarna as a left-back. Early life Krusnell was born in Stockholm and grew up in the borough of Årsta. He started his footballing career as a youngster at local club Enskede IK. In 2013, at age 14, he joined the youth system of Allsvenskan club AIK. He quickly moved up the ranks and represented the sides U17s, U19s and U21s during the following years. He made his senior debut for AIK in a pre-season friendly ahead of the 2015 Allsvenskan season. Birkir Már Sævarsson
Birkir Már Sævarsson (born 11 November 1984) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a defender for Úrvalsdeild side Valur. Club career Valur Birkir started his professional career with local team Valur in the Úrvalsdeild, where he made his senior debut in 2003. Sander Svendsen (born 6 August 1997) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a forward or a winger for Eliteserien club Viking. Early life Sander Svendsen was born in Molde, and started to play football at a young age at the local club Molde FK. Johan Kristoffer Sellberg-Wiland (born 24 January 1981) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Joseph Aidoo (born 29 September 1995) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Spanish club Celta Vigo and the Ghana national team.
