2017 FIBA U20 European Championship
The 2017 FIBA U20 European Championship was the 20th edition of the FIBA U20 European Championship. The competition took place in three Greek cities, Chania, Rethymno and Heraklion, on the island of Crete, from 15 to 23 July 2017. Theodoros Karras
Theodoros "Thodoris" Karras ( el, Θεόδωρος "Θόδωρος" Καρράς; born December 18, 1997) is a Greek professional basketball player for Karditsa of the Greek Basket League. At a height of 2.10 m (6' 10") tall, with a 2.30 m (7' 6") wingspan, he plays at the center position. Professional career Karras began his professional career in the 2015–16 season, in the Greek 2nd Division, with Doukas. In the summer of 2017, Karras joined PAOK Thessaloniki of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League, signing a four-year contract. Vassilis Charalampopoulos (alternate spellings: Vasileios, Vasilis, Basilis, Charalabopoulos) ( el, Βασίλης Χαραλαμπόπουλος; born January 6, 1997) is a Greek professional basketball player for Victoria Libertas Pesaro of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). Early career Charalampopoulos, a left-handed tall, small forward, that can also play power forward, with a 2.11 m (6'11") wingspan; started playing basketball with the youth teams of the Greek club Aigaleo. Leon Kratzer (born 4 February 1997) is a German professional basketball player for Telekom Baskets Bonn of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). Þórir Guðmundur Þorbjarnarson (born 26 May 1998) is an Icelandic professional basketball player for Landstede Hammers of the BNXT League. He played college basketball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
