European Tour
The European Tour (currently known as the DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons), legally the PGA European Tour is the leading men's professional golf tour in Europe. The organisation also operates the European Senior Tour (for players aged fifty or older) and the developmental Challenge Tour; the second tier of men’s professional golf in Europe. The tour's headquarters are at the Wentworth Club in Virginia Water, Surrey, England. The European Tour was established by the British-based Professional Golfers' Association through the 1970s, and responsibility was transferred to an independent PGA European Tour organisation in 1984. Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño
Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño (born 13 October 1980) is a Spanish professional golfer. He has played on the European Tour, winning seven times, and on the PGA Tour. Early life Fernández-Castaño was born in Madrid. He started playing golf at the age of three and had a successful amateur career, winning the 2003 Spanish Amateur Open Championship and achieving the first place in the Spanish amateur ranking in the same year. He represented Spain and Europe in several amateur team competitions, and was in the winning European team at the 2003 and 2004 Palmer Cup. He turned professional at the end of 2004 after completing Stage One of the European Tour Qualifying School, finishing eighth at the Finals at San Roque Golf Club where he secured his card for the 2005 season. Justin Walters
Justin Jeremy Walters (born 23 October 1980) is a South African professional golfer. His mother is English and has played for England in team play. Walters played college golf at Huntingdon College, winning the 2001 NAIA Championship. He then transferred to North Carolina State University where he won three times and was an All-American in 2002 and 2003. He turned professional in 2003. Walters plays on the Sunshine Tour where he has won twice, most recently at the 2011 Investec Royal Swazi Open. He began playing on the Challenge Tour in 2012. Ben Evans (golfer)
Benjamin Evans (born 13 December 1986) is an English professional golfer who has played on the European Tour. Education Evans was educated at Claremont Preparatory School, St Leonards-on-Sea and then at Millfield School, Somerset (2000–04). Professional career Evans finished second at The Foshan Open in 2014. This result helped him to a 17th-place finish in the Order of Merit for the 2014 Challenge Tour that gave him conditional status on the European Tour. In 2015, Evans finished 110th on the European Tour and thus retained full status for the 2016 season. He initially was placed 111th and looked to have missed full status, but later gained full status for 2016 after Brooks Koepka relinquished his European Tour membership for 2016 and was removed from the rankings. Matthew Baldwin
Matthew David Baldwin (born 26 February 1986) is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Baldwin was captain of the England Boys side before turning professional in 2008. In 2009 he played on the third-tier Alps Tour and finished 23rd on the Order of Merit, with six top-ten finishes. He made several appearances on the second-tier Challenge Tour in 2010, and performed well enough to finish 82nd on the final standings and gain full status for 2011. In October 2011, he won for the first time on the Challenge Tour at the Fred Olsen Challenge de España. This sealed his promotion to the main European Tour for 2012. He played well enough in his first full season to retain his playing rights, finishing 72nd on the Order of Merit. James Joseph Heath (born 17 March 1983) is an English professional golfer. Heath was born in London. He started playing golf with his father at the age of ten. Having played in the Faldo Junior Series, he went on to a successful amateur career, highlighted by winning the English Amateur and Lytham Trophy, where he broke the previous scoring record by 10 strokes, in 2004. He turned professional at the end of that year. Sebastian Heisele (born 8 August 1988) is a German professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2019 Open de Bretagne on the Challenge Tour. Amateur career Heisele was born in the Netherlands and grew up in Dubai, playing golf from the age of 12. Lorenzo Gagli (born 14 October 1985) is an Italian professional golfer. He won the 2018 Barclays Kenya Open, his first win on the Challenge Tour. Professional career Gagli turned professional in 2006. He spent 2007 on the Alps Tour, where he finished fourth on the Order of Merit. As a result, he was promoted to the Challenge Tour, where he played for the 2008 season. He graduated from the qualifying school in 2008 to earn promotion for the European Tour in 2009, but struggled for form at that level and divided his season between the European and Challenge Tours.
