The 2017 season is DPMM FC's 6th consecutive season in the top flight of Singapore football and in the S.League. Along with the S.League, the club will also compete in the Singapore Cup and the Singapore League Cup. Brunei DPMM FC
Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Football Club (His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Brunei Football Club in English, commonly known as DPMM FC) is a professional football club based in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. The club played in the Brunei Premier League in the early 2000s, winning the league title in 2002 and 2004. The club then decided to play in Malaysia, and joined the Malaysian Premier League as a foreign-based team in for the 2005–06 season. They won promotion to the Malaysian Super League (the top tier of Malaysian football) at the end of their first season in Malaysian football, and then finished 3rd and 10th in the following two season in the Super League. The club then left the Malaysian league and joined Singapore's S.League for the 2009 season. Wardun Yussof
Mohammad Wardun bin Yussof (born 14 September 1981) is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for DPMM FC and the national team. Club career Wardun has been playing for DPMM since 2006, having returned from Wijaya FC after a brief spell in 2004. Previously, he was a squad member of the Brunei team that participated in the M-League. Wardun was sent on loan to Majra FC in 2010 as Brunei (and in extension DPMM) served a two-year FIFA ban. He became the team captain in that period and even converted a penalty in the semi-final of the 2011 Brunei League Cup. He went on to win the final. Returning to the S.League with his parent club in 2012, Wardun became the undisputed number one ever since. Vincent Armando Salas Reyes (born 2 April 1989 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean former professional footballer who plays for Fernandez Vial of the Segunda División Profesional de Chile as a Defender (association football), defender. Aminuddin Zakwan Tahir
Muhammad Aminuddin Zakwan bin Muhammad Tahir (born 24 October 1994) is a Bruneian footballer who last played for Indera SC as a midfielder. Club career Since 2007, Aminuddin had represented Muara Vella for club and youth level. He ended his association with the Muara side in 2014 when he joined Najip FC. Aminuddin was added to the local contingent of the DPMM FC squad for the 2015 S.League season in February 2015 along with Reduan Petara, Yura Indera Putera and Khairul Anwar Abdul Rahim. He was the only one out of the four to give a significant contribution to his team's title-winning season, appearing 22 times mostly at right-back. After managing only a single league appearance in 2017 (which was a 9–3 drubbing by Home United on 25 May), Aminuddin was released in the close season. Helmi Zambin
Mohammad Helmi bin Haji Zambin is a Bruneian professional footballer who plays as a right-sided full-back or midfielder for DPMM FC and the Brunei national team. Club career Helmi began his career with AH United from 2004 to 2008. The following year he was selected to play for Brunei's sole professional club, DPMM FC. He went to Indera SC on loan for the two seasons the FIFA ban on Brunei was in effect. After the appointment of Steve Kean, Helmi only made 5 appearances in the 2014 S.League. Tabuan Muda
Tabuan Muda (English:''Young Wasps'') was a Bruneian football team that played in the Bruneian football league system, under the management of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam. The team was formed in 2015 to prepare Brunei's youth international teams for their participation in upcoming regional and international tournaments. Naming The Standard Malay word for 'wasp' is ''tebuan'' but due to the Brunei Malay voweling system, the word becomes ''tabuan'' when vocalised locally. Muhammad Hanif Alias name, @ Abdul Hadi bin Hamir (born 22 February 1997) is a Bruneian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for DPMM FC. Club career Hanif is a graduate of Brunei's Brunei Sports School, Sports School, the institution that also produced Bruneian internationals such as Azwan Ali Rahman and Shafie Effendy.
