2017 Czech Hockey Games
The 2017 Czech Hockey Games were played between 27 and 30 April 2017. The Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Russia played a round-robin for a total of three games per team and six games in total. Five of the games were played in České Budějovice, Czech Republic, and one game in Stockholm, Sweden. The tournament was won by the Czech Republic. Standings Games ''All times are local.'' Juuso Hietanen
Juuso Hietanen (born 14 June 1985) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman for HPK of the Liiga. Playing career Hietanen made his SM-liiga debut with HPK during the 2003–04 season, and two years later he became a regular player on the team. He also visited Pelicans early in his career and was part of the Finnish national junior team in the 2005 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. At the time of his SM-liiga debut, he was the first third generation player in the top level of Finnish ice hockey. In 2006 he celebrated the championship with HPK. He scored two goals and an assist in the second final, but HPK suffered its only loss in the series. In 2007, he moved to Sweden to play in the Elitserien with Brynäs IF and for 2010–11 season he signed with HV71. Eddie Läck
Eddie Läck (born 5 January 1988) is a Swedish retired professional ice hockey coach and former player. He serves as an assistant head coach of the Arizona State Sun Devils, and is also currently a real estate agent in the Scottsdale, Arizona region. Läck, a goaltender, played in Sweden for Leksands IF of the HockeyAllsvenskan and Brynäs IF of the Elitserien before moving to the National Hockey League (NHL) where he played for the Vancouver Canucks, Carolina Hurricanes, Calgary Flames and New Jersey Devils. Lukáš Kašpar (born 23 September 1985) is a Czech Republic, Czech professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with HC Kometa Brno of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). He was originally drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Robin Hanzl (born 10 January 1989) is a Czech professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing for Timrå IK in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Michal Kempný (born 8 September 1990) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing with HC Sparta Praha in the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Jan Rutta (born July 29, 1990) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Rutta won back-to-back Stanley Cups with the Lightning in 2020 and 2021. Jakub Voráček (; born 15 August 1989) is a Czech professional ice hockey right winger who plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL).
