2017 Cambodian League or 2017 Metfone Cambodian League is the 33rd season of the Cambodian League. Contested by 12 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Cambodian Second League. The league starts from 18 February until 19 November. Boeung Ket Angkor are the defending champions. The Cambodian Premier League ( km, លីគកំពូលកម្ពុជា, ) is the highest professional football division in Cambodia and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Cambodian League 2. Starting with the 2022 season, the Cambodian Premier League is contested by 8 clubs and administered by the Cambodian Football League Company (CFLC). History Origins The first domestic football national championship in Cambodia was first established in 1982 during the People's Republic of Kampuchea years. The competing clubs were primarily based on the Soviet model of official amateur teams formed by ministries, the police, army and other state owned enterprises. Kirivong Sok Sen Chey FC
Kirivong Sok Sen Chey Football Club is an association football club based in Takeo Province, Cambodia. History After withdrawal from the 2016 Cambodian League season, the team competed in the 2016 Cambodian Second League. It won promotion and rejoined the 2017 Cambodian League, then was relegated again. Kenichi Yatsuhashi
Kenichi Yatsuhashi (Japanese: 八橋健一 Kyrgyz: Кеничи Ясухаши, born 6 February1969 in Japan) is a Japanese football manager who currently manages football club Angthong in the Thai League 3 Western region. Career College and youth coaching career Arriving at New York City in December 1988, he began coaching youth soccer teams: the Elmont Ravens girls' team, the Brooklyn Patriots boys' team, and the Gotham Girls Chargers team. Next, Yatsuhashi became coach of the BMCC men's soccer team where he served as the women's coach for 9 years and guided them to the NJCAA Division III nationals in 2004 and won third place plus six conference championships. Masahiro Fukasawa
is a former Japanese football player. Playing career Fukasawa was educated at and played for Shizuoka Gakuen High School, where he led the varsity soccer team to the national championship in 1995. After graduating from high school, he entered professional football. Fukasawa (in Japan, his name is listed with ''Fukazawa'' on J.League officials) played 20 games in J1 League, Yokohama F. Khoun Laboravy ( km, ឃួន ឡាបូរ៉ាវី; born 25 August 1988) is a Cambodian former footballer who last played for Boeung Ket in Cambodian League.
