2017 Australian Open
The 2017 Australian Open was a tennis tournament that took place at Melbourne Park between 16 and 29 January 2017. It was the 105th edition of the Australian Open, and the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. The tournament consisted of events for professional players in singles, doubles and mixed doubles play. Junior and wheelchair players competed in singles and doubles tournaments. As in previous years, the tournament's title sponsor was Kia. Novak Djokovic and Angelique Kerber were the defending champions and both were unsuccessful in their title defence; they lost to Denis Istomin and CoCo Vandeweghe in the second and fourth rounds, respectively. Aleksandra Krunić ( sr-Cyrl, Александра Крунић; born 15 March 1993) is a Serbian professional tennis player. She has won one singles title and six doubles titles on the WTA Tour along with one singles title on WTA 125 tournaments. In June 2018, she reached her best singles rankings of world No. 39. Amra Sadiković
Amra Sadiković ( mk, Амра Садиковиќ; ; born 6 May 1989) is a Swiss tennis player. She announced her retirement in May 2014, a few days after her 25th birthday, only to begin playing 13 months later on the ITF Women's Circuit again. In April 2019, Sadiković announced her second and permanent retirement from professional tennis. She had another comeback in October 2022 at Sharm El Sheik. Abbie Jane Myers (born 18 July 1994) is an Australian tennis player. She has career-high WTA rankings of 257 in singles and 182 in doubles.
