The 2016–17 season was Udinese Calcio's 37th season in Serie A and their 22nd consecutive season in the top-flight. Udinese Calcio, commonly referred to as Udinese, is a professional Football in Italy, Italian association football, football club based in Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, that currently plays in Serie A. It was founded on 30 November 1896 as a sports club, and on 5 July 1911 as a football club. The traditional team home kit is black and white striped shirt, black shorts, and white socks. The club broadcasts on channel 110 (Udinese Channel) on digital terrestrial television in the north-east of Italy. It has many fans in Friuli and the surrounding areas. Samir Santos
Samir Caetano de Souza Santos (born 5 December 1994), also known as Samir, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Liga MX club UANL. Club career Born in Rio de Janeiro, Samir began his career with Brazilian side Flamengo, making his Série A debut with the club's first team in 2013; he won the 2013 Copa do Brasil and the 2014 Campeonato Carioca with the club. Simone Scuffet (; born 31 May 1996) is an Italian professional association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Romanian Liga I side CFR Cluj. Club career Udinese An Udinese Calcio, Udinese youth product, Scuffet made his first team debut on 1 February 2014 at the age of 17 in a Serie A match against Bologna F.C. 1909, Bologna, as a replacement for injured Željko Brkić. Francesco Lodi (born 23 March 1984) is an Italian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Italian club Catania S.S.D., Catania. Ryder Matos Santos Pinto (born 27 February 1993) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger or forward for club Perugia. Club career Fiorentina Born in Seabra, Bahia, Matos was scouted by Fiorentina's sport director Pantaleo Corvino aged 15, while playing for Vitória.
