2016–17 UMBC Retrievers Women's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 UMBC Retrievers women's basketball team represented the University of Maryland, Baltimore County during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Retrievers, led by 15th year head coach Phil Stern, played their home games in the Retriever Activities Center as members of the America East Conference. They finished the season 15–15, 10–6 in America East play to finish in third place. They lost in quarterfinals of the America East women's tournament to Hartford. They were invited to the Women's Basketball Invitational where they lost to Brown in the first round. Media All non-televised home games and conference road games will stream on either ESPN3 or AmericaEast.tv. Most road games will stream on the opponents website. Phil Stern (basketball)
Philip "Snapdragon" Stern (September 3, 1919 – December 13, 2014) was an American photographer noted for his iconic portraits of Hollywood stars, as well as his war photography while serving as a U.S. Army Ranger with " Darby's Rangers" during the North African and Italian campaigns in World War II. Settling in Los Angeles after the war, Stern was staff photographer for ''LOOK'' magazine. He also worked for '' Life'' magazine and ''Collier's''. He was present on numerous film productions as still photographer, and in that capacity took photographs of a huge cross-section of the film community. In 1972 Stern, at the instigation of Gary Merrill was in Nova Scotia for several weeks to document Merrill's friend, artist Jack L. Eastern Arizona College
Eastern Arizona College (EAC), is a community college in Graham County, Arizona. The main campus is in Thatcher, with satellite locations in Gila County, and Greenlee County. It is the oldest community college in Arizona and the only community college in Arizona with a marching band. History Eastern Arizona College was chartered by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1888. Classes started in a church room in Central, Arizona in 1890 with 17 students and was called the St. Joseph Stake Academy. In 1891, classes were moved to Thatcher, Arizona, to be more centralized and due to room constraints. The school continued to expand, though it was strapped financially. VCU Rams
The VCU Rams are the athletic teams of Virginia Commonwealth University of Richmond, Virginia, United States. The Rams compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The most successful teams have been the men's tennis and basketball teams, which have had success in their conference and on the regional and national stages. The school's colors are black and gold. West Nyack is a hamlet and census-designated place in the town of Clarkstown, Rockland County, New York, United States. Glenelg High School is a public high school in Glenelg, Maryland, United States. Woodbine is an unincorporated rural community in Howard and Carroll counties, Maryland, United States. It is part of the Baltimorean metropolitan area. It is located southeast of Frederick, west of Baltimore, north of Washington, D.C., and east of Mount Airy.
