The 2016–17 season was Partick Thistle's fourth consecutive season in the top flight of Scottish football and their fourth season Scottish Premiership, having been promoted from the Scottish First Division at the end of the 2012–13 season. Thistle also competed in the League Cup and the Scottish Cup. Pittodrie Stadium, commonly referred to as Pittodrie, is an all-seater stadium in Aberdeen, Scotland. Sean Welsh (born 15 March 1990) is a Scottish footballer, who plays as a midfielder for club Queen's Park. Daniel Gerard Devine (born 7 September 1992) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Scottish club Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Abdul Haq Bin Seidu Osman (born 27 February 1987) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays for Sittingbourne. Miles James Storey (born 4 January 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for National League North side Hereford. Originally from the West Midlands, Storey began his professional career at Swindon Town. Although he did not become a main part of Swindon's set-up at the time, Storey was sent on loan to numerous clubs such as Portsmouth, Newport County and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
