2016–17 NACAM Formula 4 Championship
The 2016–17 NACAM Formula 4 Championship season was the second season of the NACAM Formula 4 Championship. It began on 24 September 2016 at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas and ended on 18 June 2017 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City after eight triple-header rounds. Teams and drivers Race calendar and results The calendar was published on 28 July 2015. For the first time, the series expanded outside Mexico, hosting its opening round at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin. The series also hosted a full-championship round in support of the 2016 Mexican GP round, as opposed to the exhibition round held the previous season, and also extended its territory to Southeastern Mexico by holding two back-to-back rounds in the states of Yucatán and Quintana Roo. Calvin Ming
Calvin Stanley Ming (born July 25, 1996) is a racing driver from Guyana. Biography Ming began his career aged 6, when his father Stanley – a former motorcycle racer – bought him a go-kart for his birthday. Having competed in karting across the Caribbean, he relocated to Florida in 2015 to pursue a career in cars. He made his début in U.S. F1600, and simultaneously began testing in Formula 4 with a view to contesting the Mexican championship – completing an exhibition at the South Dakota Circuit in Guyana in an effort to garner local sponsorship. Ming won the NACAM F4 Championship on his second attempt in a campaign that saw him win a race supporting the 2016 Mexican Grand Prix. 2016 Formula One Season
The 2016 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 70th season of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA)'s Formula One motor racing. It featured the 67th Formula One World Championship, a motor racing championship for Formula One cars which is recognised by the sport's governing body, the FIA, as the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars. Teams and drivers took part in twenty-one Grands Prix—making for the longest season in the sport's history—starting in Australia on 20 March and finishing in Abu Dhabi on 27 November as they competed for the World Drivers' and World Constructors' championships. The 2016 season saw the grid expand to twenty-two cars with the addition of the Haas F1 Team entry. Renault returned to the sport as a constructor after a four-year absence following their takeover of Lotus prior to the start of the season. Parque Tangamanga I and II are public parks in the city of San Luis Potosí. History Parque Tangamanga I was inaugurated in 1983 in the former Hacienda La Tenería. Nuevo León () is a state in the northeast region of Mexico. Apodaca () is a city and its surrounding municipality that is part of Monterrey Metropolitan area. It lies in the northeastern part of the Monterrey Metropolitan Area. It is known for becoming recently a heavy industrialized city. As of 2019, the city houses 70% of the industrial plants of the state of Nuevo León. Mérida, Yucatán
