2016–17 Latvian Football Cup
The 2016–17 Latvian Football Cup is the 22nd season of the Latvian annual football knock-out competition. The winners will qualify for the first qualifying round of the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League. Participating clubs The following teams will take part in the competition: First round The first round consists of 8 matches, between 16 of the qualifying teams from the Latvian Second League. 9 teams from the Second League automatically qualified for the second round, based on a lottery.
