2016–17 Copa Catalunya Basketball Season
The 2016–17 Copa Catalunya was the 18th season of Copa Catalunya. This season the competition was reduced from 32 to 28 teams. The Final Four was played at the Pavelló Municipal in Salou. Mataró Parc Boet won the title. For the first time an All Star match was played by the best players of each group. The All Star Game was played at Parc Esportiu Llobregat in Cornellà de Llobregat. The All Star replaced the Copa Federació that played the last seasons. Format Regular season 28 teams are divided in two groups by geographical criteria. Final Stage The Final Stage will be played in play-off ties in a two-legged format, with the exception of the final four. Relegation PlayOffs In the relegation playoffs, teams played against each other must win two games to win the series. The winners remain at Copa Catalunya for the next season. Santa Coloma De Gramenet
Santa Coloma de Gramenet () informally simply known as Santa Coloma (in Spanish: Santa Coloma de Gramanet, historically also known as ''Gramenet de Besòs'') is a municipality in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the south-east side of the Litoral range, with the Puig Castellar (299 m) as its highest point, on the left bank of the Besòs river: the municipalities of Sant Adrià de Besòs and Badalona separate it from the coast. Castellar del Vallès is a Spanish municipality of Catalonia in the comarca of Vallès Occidental. It is located 7 km from Sabadell and 11 km from Terrassa, the comarca's two capitals. La Bisbal D'Empordà
La Bisbal d'Empordà is the county seat of the ''comarca'' of Baix Empordà in Catalonia, Spain. The town lies 29 km southeast of Girona, 12 km west of Palafrugell and 19 km northwest of Palamós along road C-66 from Girona to Palafrugell/Palamós, where it becomes C-31. Mollet del Vallès () is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Vallès Oriental in Catalonia, Spain.
