2016–17 Central Michigan Chippewas Men's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Central Michigan Chippewas men's basketball team represented Central Michigan University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Chippewas, led by fifth-year head coach Keno Davis, played their home games at McGuirk Arena as members of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 16–16, 6–12 in MAC play to finish in last place in the West Division. As the No. 11 seed in the MAC tournament, they lost in the first round to Kent State. Previous season The Chippewas finished the 2015–16 season 17–16, 10–8 in MAC play to finish in a tie for the West Division championship. Keno Davis
Keno Emlen Davis (born March 10, 1972) an American basketball coach who is the head coach for the Flint United. He was most recently the men's basketball head coach at Central Michigan University. Davis was previously head coach at Drake University for one season (2007–2008), where he was named the 2008 Associated Press College Basketball Coach of the Year, and at Providence College for three seasons (2008-2011). Davis also served as an assistant coach at Drake from 2003–2007 under his father Tom Davis prior to starting his coaching career. Coaching career Davis served as an undergraduate assistant coach at the University of Iowa under his father from 1991–1995. Holt is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The CDP is located within Delhi Charter Township and occupies a majority of the township. The population was 25,625 at the 2020 census, which is a significant increase from 11,315 at the 2000 census when the CDP area was significantly smaller. Earl Warren High School
Earl Warren High School is a public school located in San Antonio, Texas, United States. It is a part of the Northside Independent School District. As with all Northside ISD high schools, it is named for a former United States Supreme Court justice - in this case, former Chief Justice Earl Warren. West Mesquite High School is a high school in Mesquite, Texas, United States. The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the Mesquite Independent School District. Boyne City () is a city in Charlevoix County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,816 at the 2020 census. The city is located at the southeastern end of Lake Charlevoix where Boyne River drains into the lake. Moberly Area Community College
Moberly Area Community College (MACC) is a public community college based in Moberly, Missouri. In addition to the Moberly campus, MACC has four campuses across a large portion of Northeastern and central Missouri: Columbia, Hannibal, Kirksville, and Mexico. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. In 2010 MACC enrollment was approximately 5,600 students.
