Real Club Celta de Vigo (; ), commonly known as Celta de Vigo or simply Celta, is a Spanish professional football club based in Vigo, Galicia, that competes in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football. Nicknamed ''Os Celestes'' (The Sky Blues), the club was founded on 1923 as ''Club Celta'', following the merger of two Vigo-based teams. The club's home stadium is Balaídos, which seats 29,000 spectators. The club's name is derived from the Celts, a people who once lived in the region. Its main rival is fellow Galician club Deportivo La Coruña, with whom it contests the Galician derby. Hugo Mallo Novegil (born 22 June 1991) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for and captains RC Celta de Vigo as a right-back. He has spent his entire career with Celta, making over 400 competitive appearances including a club record of over 300 in La Liga. Jozabed Sánchez Ruiz (born 8 March 1991), known simply as Jozabed (), is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder. Álvaro Lemos Collazo (born 30 March 1993) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Las Palmas as a right winger. Pione Sisto Ifolo Emirmija (; born 4 February 1995) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Danish club Midtjylland. John Alberto Guidetti (, ; born 15 April 1992) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a striker for AIK. Whilst growing up Guidetti played football in his native Sweden as well as Kenya.
