2016–17 Brøndby IF Season
The 2016–17 season was Brøndby's 36th consecutive season in the top flight of Danish football, 27th consecutive season in the Danish Superliga, and 51st year in existence as a football club. In addition to the Danish Superliga, the club also competed in the Danish Cup and the UEFA Europa League. The season was the club's first with manager Alexander Zorniger. Brøndbyernes Idrætsforening (, usually abbreviated to Brøndby IF (), is a Danish professional Football club (association football), football club based in Brøndbyvester. Brøndby IF denotes the professional football section of Brøndbyernes Idrætsforening, which was founded on 3 December 1964 by a merger of the football clubs Brøndbyøster Idrætsforening (founded on 10 October 1928) and Brøndbyvester Idrætsforening (founded on 1 February 1909). The club's first team, which plays in the Danish Superliga, plays its home games at Brøndby Stadium - in the clubs colors of blue and yellow. The club has excelled both nationally and internationally by reaching the quarter-finals of the European Champions Cup in 1986-87 and the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup 1990–91. Jan Hoffmann
Jan Hoffmann (born 26 October 1955) is a German figure skater who represented East Germany in competition. A four-time Olympian, he is the 1980 Olympic silver medalist, the 1974 & 1980 World Champion, and a four-time (1974, 1977–1979) European Champion. Personal life Jan Hoffmann was born on 26 October 1955 in Dresden, East Germany. He is married and has one daughter. Career Competitive Hoffmann's first coach was Annemarie Halbach in Dresden. He later switched to Jutta Müller in Karl-Marx-Stadt (today Chemnitz). He represented the former East Germany in competition. Frederik Holst (footballer)
Frederik Lucas Holst (; born 24 September 1994) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Danish 2nd Division side Fremad Amager. He also has represented Denmark at youth level. Career Brøndby 2011–12 season On 9 May 2012, Holst signed a new two-and-a-half-year Brøndby IF contract, which tied him to the club until the end of 2014. He made his Brøndby IF debut (in jersey number 31) at the age of 17 as the youngest player ever in the club history when he was brought on for the final five minutes in the 5–1 away defeat against AGF on 13 May 2012. Hany Mukhtar
Hany Abubakr Mukhtar (born 21 March 1995) is a Sudanese/German professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Nashville SC in Major League Soccer. Club career Hertha BSC Mukhtar began playing football at a very early age, initially for FC Stern Marienfelde. Rodolph William Austin (born 1 June 1985) is a Jamaican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Portmore United. He is renowned as a tough tackling central midfielder who can play in attacking and central midfield as well as a central defender. He began his career at Portmore United, where he won two Jamaica National Premier League titles and the CFU Club Championship. Thomas Zeuthen Kahlenberg (; born 20 March 1983) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Hjörtur Hermannsson (; born 8 February 1995) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Super League Greece club Volos and the Iceland national team. Martin Albrechtsen (; born 31 March 1980) is a Danish former professional footballer who primarily played as a centre-back. He currently plays for Danish amateur club FK Prespa. Benedikt Röcker
Benedikt Röcker (born 19 November 1989) is a German former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Starting his career at lower tier clubs FV Löchgau and Sonnenhof Großaspach in Württemberg, Röcker moved to VfB Stuttgart in 2011, where he became a regular for the second team. Yun Suk-young (; ; born 13 February 1990) is a South Korean footballer who last played as a left-back for K League 2 club Chungbuk Cheongju.
