Brisbane Roar Football Club is an Australian professional association football, soccer club based in Brisbane, Queensland, Brisbane, Queensland and has won the domestic title on three occasions, as well as holding the longest unbeaten record of 36 league matches without defeat. Michael Theo (formerly Theoklitos) (born 11 February 1981) is an Australian goalkeeper who is the goalkeeping coach at A-League club Western United FC. Career Early career Theoklitos began his career as a young lad playing in the Victorian Premier League (VPL) for Bulleen Zebras. He was then picked up by South Melbourne FC but failed to make an impact ahead of number 1 Eugene Galekovic. After 5 appearances for Hellas, he was sold to the Football Kingz FC for the 2001–2002 season where he became a fan favourite making 20 appearances in the National Soccer League. During his time with the Kingz he was scouted by Blackpool FC who signed him in 2002. Due to injury he only played in three games, only two of which counted as full representation for Blackpool. Matt McKay
Matthew Graham McKay (born 11 January 1983) is a retired Australian professional footballer who last played for Australian A-League club Brisbane Roar, and previously with the Australian national team. McKay currently holds the club's record for league appearances, 272. McKay played for Brisbane Roar since their first season in the A-League, and was their club captain up until the 2010–11 season, in which he led Brisbane to their first ever A-League championship and premiership. Nathan Konstandopoulos (born 26 June 1996) is an Australian footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Melbourne Victory in the A-League. Club career Konstandopoulos played for Adelaide United and was released. He trained for a week with Brisbane Roar and was approached by Josep Gombau to join his academy in New York. Manuel Jesús Arana Rodríguez (born 3 December 1984) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a right winger. He played 75 La Liga matches over four seasons, totalling seven goals for Racing de Santander and Rayo Vallecano. Jade Bronson North (born 7 January 1982) is an Aboriginal Australian former professional footballer who played as a centre back or right back. He was a member of the Australian national team, and is co-chair of Football Australia's inaugural National Indigenous Advisory Group. Early life Jade Bronson North was born in Taree, of Biripi descent. He lived in New Zealand until the age of 11, then moved back to Australia, taking up residence in the suburb of Sunnybank in Brisbane, with his brother Brook North and parents. He attended Sunnybank High School until he was offered a place with the AIS in Canberra at the age of 15. Thomas Michael Oar (born 10 December 1991) is a retired Australian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Born on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Oar played youth football for Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and at the Queensland Academy of Sport before making his professional debut for Brisbane Roar in 2008. He joined Dutch club FC Utrecht in 2010, making over 100 appearances for the side before moving to England to play for Ipswich Town in 2015. Brett Trevor Holman (born 27 March 1984) is a former Australian professional footballer who last played for Brisbane Roar in the A-League as an attacking midfielder. Born in Sydney, Holman played youth football for Northern Spirit before making his senior debut for Parramatta Power. He then moved to the Netherlands, where he played for a number of years before moving to Aston Villa in 2012 to play in the English Premier League. Jacob Scott Pepper (born 8 May 1992) is an Australian professional soccer player who currently plays for Edgeworth Eagles FC as a defensive midfielder.
