Lighthouse X
Lighthouse X (pronounced "Lighthouse Ten") was a Danish boyband consisting of Søren Bregendal, Johannes Nymark and Martin Skriver. The band was formed in 2012 with the goal of helping people who face challenges in their lives. They work as ambassadors of three different non-profit organizations who also receive a percentage of the groups profit. They represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with the song "Soldiers of Love (Lighthouse X song), Soldiers of Love". Lighthouse X disbanded in August 2016. Career 2014–15: ''Lighthouse X'' On 13 October 2014 Lighthouse X released their debut single "Kærligheden kalder". Eurovision Song Contest 2016
The Eurovision Song Contest 2016 was the 61st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Stockholm, Sweden, following the country's victory at the with the song "Heroes" by Måns Zelmerlöw. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT), the contest was held at the Globe Arena and consisted of two semi-finals on 10 and 12 May, and a final on 14 May 2016. The three live shows were presented by Petra Mede and previous year's winner Måns Zelmerlöw. Soldiers Of Love (Lighthouse X Song)
Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Soldiers of Love" written by Sebastian F. Ovens, Daniel Lund Jørgensen, Katrine Klith Andersen, Søren Bregendal, Johannes Nymark and Martin Skriver. The song was performed by the group Lighthouse X. The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final ''Melodi Grand Prix 2016'' in order to select the Danish entry for the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Ten songs competed in a televised show where the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. The results of the first round were decided upon through the combination of jury voting and public voting while in the second round, the winner was selected solely by public televoting. "Soldiers of Love" performed by Lighthouse X was the winner after gaining 42% of the public vote. Rubik's Cube
The Rubik's Cube is a Three-dimensional space, 3-D combination puzzle originally invented in 1974 by Hungarians, Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik. Embrace (duo)
KAPUTU, formerly known as Embrace and NEW:NAME, is a Danish sister duo consisting of Anilde and Azilda Kaputu. They became the winners of the ninth season of the Danish version of the X Factor. They received 60% of the public vote and became the second group to win the competition. After they won their winning single Commitment Issues was released on the Music Services. On 21 April, they changed their band name to NEW:NAME. On 20 May they released their debut EP called True Story. X Factor (Denmark Season 9)
''X Factor'' is a Danish television music competition to find new singing talent. In season 9, Sofie Linde Lauridsen replaced Eva Harlou as host. Thomas Blachman and Remee returned for their respective eighth and sixth seasons as judges, joined by newcomer Mette Lindberg. Lina Rafn, after four seasons as a judge, did not return. The winners were Embrace and Remee became the winning mentor for the third time and for the first time in the Danish ''X Factor'' history a judge has won two years in a row. Judges and hosts On March 20, 2015, it was reported that Lina Rafn was considering leaving ''X Factor''. Five days later, it was reported that Rafn would be leaving the show. At the final of season 8 on March 27, Rafn said in an interview that she did not know if she would continue as a judge. Thomas Blachman said it was maybe time for three new judges. ''X Factor'' is the Danish version of british Tv show ''The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. There have been fifteen winners to date, most notable are Martin Hoberg Hedegaard (2008), Thomas Ring Petersen (2010), Anthony Jasmin (2014), Place on Earth (2018) & Mads Moldt (2022). The original judging panel consisted of Thomas Blachman, Lina Rafn and Remee. The current panel consists of Blachman and Martin Jensen. Former judges include Soulshock, Pernille Rosendahl, Cutfather, Ida Corr, Anne Linnet, Mette Lindberg, Sanne Salomonsen and Oh Land. The original host was Lise Rønne. The current host is Sofie Linde, who has hosted the show since season 9. Former presenters include Signe Muusmann and Signe Molde. Sarah Mahfoud (born 29 September 1989) is a Faroese-born Danish professional boxer who won the IBF female featherweight title in July 2020. She subsequently lost to Amanda Serrano in a title unification bout in Manchester on 24 September 2022. As of September 2020, she is ranked as the world's second best active female featherweight by BoxRec and third by ''The Ring''. Nexo Knights
''Nexo Knights'' (stylized as NEXO KNIGHTS) is a 3D animated television series that aired on Cartoon Network and premiered in 2016. It was produced by The Lego Group to coincide with the Lego theme of the same name. The series is based on a fantasy castle concept and is set in a futuristic kingdom called Knighton, which is home to five young knights. The storyline follows the adventures of the five knights as they defend their home from a court jester named Jestro and his monsters. Four seasons were produced for a total of 40 episodes. Bedre skilt end aldrig (translated "Better divorced than never") is a Danish comedy-drama TV series on TV 2. The series was premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in January 2016 and then aired on TV2 in Denmark. It was nominated for several Robert Awards (the Danish equivalent of the Oscar award) in 2017.
