Drapht
Paul Reid, formerly Paul Gary James Ridge, (born 4 September 1982), better known by the stage name Drapht, is an Australian hip hop artist from Perth. Drapht is a member of the Syllabolix (SBX) crew, a collective that includes fellow Perth-based hip hop artists such as Downsyde. Biography 1982–2002: Early life Drapht grew up in North Perth, Western Australia, a suburb of Perth. His father, Gary Ridge, a jazz drummer introduced Drapht to music from a very young age—he first experienced hip hop at the age of eight. The name "Drapht" is based on a Western Australian Swan Brewery beer, Swan Draught; the company's logo was written on a watch that his father brought home when Drapht was 13 or 14. Drapht attended Perth Modern School in Subiaco but was not involved in the school's music program. Allday
Tomas Henry Gaynor (born 21 February 1991), known professionally as Allday, is an Australian rapper, singer and songwriter from Adelaide, South Australia. Gaynor became active in 2011, when he began uploading his music for free online. Following his works becoming increasingly popular, he moved to Melbourne, Victoria, to pursue a serious career before later relocating to Los Angeles, California, in February 2017. His works have been influenced by acts such as Silverchair, Frank Ocean, and TLC. Gaynor released his debut album, '' Startup Cult'', in July 2014 to Australian audiences. The Veronicas is an Australian pop duo from Brisbane. The group was formed in 2004 by identical twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso. In 2005, the Veronicas released their debut studio album, titled '' The Secret Life of...'', which peaked at number two on the Australian Album Chart and was certified 4× platinum by Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for selling over 280,000 copies. The album spawned five singles, led by " 4ever", three of which were top ten singles in Australia. "In My Blood" is a song by Australian pop duo The Veronicas for their fourth studio album, ''Godzilla'' (2021). It was co-written by The Veronicas twins, Lisa Origliasso and Jessica Origliasso, along with Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci and produced by the latter two under the collective name DNA. The track was released on 10 June 2016 as the album's first single. Composition "In My Blood" was co-written by The Veronicas (Jessica Origliasso and Lisa Origliasso) along with Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci in Sydney. The duo have previously collaborated with the latter two on their 2014 single "You Ruin Me". The duo credit Kylie Minogue as an inspiration for the sound of the song. "Say It" is a song by Australian musician Flume, featuring the vocals from Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Lo. The track was released as the third single from his second studio album, ''Skin''. It was premiered on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show on 20 April 2016 and released on 22 April 2016, by Australian label Future Classic. The song performed successfully in Oceania, peaking at number five on the ARIA Singles Chart and number four on the RMNZ Singles Chart. "Smoke & Retribution" is a song by Australian DJ and record producer Flume. It features vocals from American rapper Vince Staples and Australian singer Kučka. It made its debut on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show and was released on 29 January 2016, by Future Classic. The track is taken from Flume's second studio album, ''Skin''. Background Flume explained that he had started work on this song in the back of a van on the way to Las Vegas in mid-2015. Flume said, "It wasn't originally intended to have rap on it. Vince and I got to meet in person for the first time in L.A. in September, and that's when I showed him the beat... a few weeks later he sent back new verses for it.
