Lydden Hill - Rallycross
''Lydden is also the name of a hamlet in the Manston, Kent civil parish'' Lydden is a civil parish and small village in the Dover district of Kent, England. The Lydden Race Circuit is located between here and Wootton to the west of the village. Lydden village consists of a triangle of 3 roads: Canterbury Road (part of the old A2 running between Dover, Canterbury and London), Stonehall and Church Lane. Lydden is set in a steep sided valley landscape, with grazing pasture and pockets of woodland along the valley side facing north west, and the extensive Lydden and Temple Ewell Downs National Nature Reserve facing south west. The NNR is famous for its chalk grassland habitat and species including the adonis blue butterfly. Amenities There were two pubs in Lydden, The Lydden Bell (pictured on the right) and The Hope Inn. MJP Racing Team Austria is an auto racing team founded by Austrian racing driver and entrepreneur Max Pucher. The team has been competing in rallycross since its creation. The team uses Supercar specification Ford Fiesta built by MJP Racing. The cars were former built by Stohl Racing but before the 2016 season started Max Pucher separated his team from Stohl Racing and operates the cars by himself. Timur Renatovich Timerzyanov (russian: Тиму́р Рена́тович Тимерзя́нов; born 31 January 1987) is a Russian rallycross driver, currently competing in the FIA World Rallycross Championship. He has won the European Rallycross Division 1A Championship in 2010 with SET Promotion and the European Rallycross Division Supercar Championship in 2012 and 2013 with Hansen Motorsport. He won the first World RX event in 2019. His team GRX also claimed the first victory. Hansen Motorsport (officially ''Kenneth Hansen Motorsport AB''), which competed under the title Team Peugeot-Hansen as Peugeot's official partner in the motorsport of rallycross, is an auto racing team founded by Swedish racing driver Kenneth Hansen in 1990. The team has been competing in rallycross since its creation. Hansen Motorsport used Citroën cars exclusively from 1993 and switched to Peugeot in 2014. Hansen Motorsport ran Peugeot's entry in the World Rallycross Championship from 2014 to 2017. In December 2017 it was announced that Peugeot Sport would take over the running of Peugeot's factory cars from Hansen Motorsport, through Team Peugeot Total. Kevin Hansen (born 28 May 1998) is a rallycross driver from Sweden. He currently competes in the FIA World Rallycross Championship (WRX) Supercar category, for Team Peugeot-Hansen. His father is the 14-time European Rallycross Champion Kenneth Hansen. He is also the youngest driver to race in a WRX event, making his debut at 17 years and 6 months old. Johan David Kristoffersson (born 6 December 1988) is a Swedish racecar driver. He is a five time World Champion having won the FIA World Rallycross Championship in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022. In 2018 he won a record breaking 11 out of 12 events in the championship. He is the son of former racing driver and Kristoffersson Motorsport (KMS) team owner Tommy Kristoffersson. He also won the Superstars Series championship in 2012, the same year in which he claimed the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia titles.
