The 2016 Touring Car Endurance Series powered by Hankook was the first season of the Touring Car Endurance Series (TCES). Creventic was the organiser and promoter of the series. The races were contested with touring cars. The 24H Silverstone and the 24H Epilog Brno were part of both the TCES and the 24H Series. Touring Car Endurance Series
The Touring Car Endurance Series (abbreviated as TCES) or 24H TCE Series (since 2018) is a touring car racing series developed by Creventic and with approval from the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The calendar consists only of 24-hour and 12-hour races. Creventic Dutch agency Creventic is the organiser and promoter of the series. Their goals are to organise races with "low costs, a convivial atmosphere with teams and drivers from all over the world and fair competition on the track." In co-operation with the Dutch National Racing Team (DNRT) – one of the biggest motorsport organisations of the Benelux – they organised the inaugural Dubai 24 Hour in 2006. Creventic is also the organiser of the 24H Series. In 2016 the calendar features three races and one of those is the 24H Silverstone which is both part of the 24H Series and the TCES. Francesco Castellacci
Francesco Castellacci (born 4 April 1987 in Rome) is a professional racing driver from Italy. Francesco studied at Marymount International School, Rome and Universita' Bocconi before starting his career as a racing driver. Together with Federico Leo, he won the drivers title of the 2011 FIA GT3 European Championship, driving a Ferrari 458 Italia GT3. Career Formula Azzurra Castellacci began his single-seater career in late 2005, racing in the Formula Azzurra Winter Trophy. In the series' four races, all held at Adria International Raceway, he achieved two podium places to be classified in third place. Andřej Studenič
Andřej Studenič (born 18 June 1977 in Bratislava) is a racing driver. Studenič started his hillclimb career in 1993, competing at a professional level until 1998 when he made the move to full-time circuit racing. He joined the Central European Touring Car Championship in 1997 with the Audi team, moving to Super Tourenwagen Cup in 1999. After a quiet 2000, he returned to drive part of the German V8Star Series season in 2001, competing sparsely in 2002 with one FIA GT Championship race in N-GT class for Machanek Porsche. Autoracing Club Bratislava, also known as ARC Bratislava, is an auto racing team based in Slovakia. The team is led by Miro Konôpka, who has been driving for the team since its inception. Sebastiaan Bleekemolen (born 9 August 1978 in Haarlem) is a Dutch racing driver that currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving for the family-owned Team Bleekemolen in the No. 69 Ford Mustang in the Elite 1 class. Michael Bleekemolen (born 2 October 1949 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands) is a racing driver who currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving for the family-owned Team Bleekemolen in the No. 69 Ford Mustang in the Elite 2 class. He previously raced for the RAM and ATS teams in Formula One. He graduated from Formula Vee and tried his hand at Formula One in 1977, where he failed to qualify at his home Grand Prix. Nevertheless, he returned the following year with ATS for four races, but qualified only once, at Watkins Glen. The first generation of the BMW 1 Series consists of the BMW E81 (3-door hatchback), BMW E82 (coupe), BMW E87 (5-door hatchback) and BMW E88 (convertible) compact cars. The E81/E82/E87/E88 generation was produced from 2004 until 2013 and is sometimes collectively referred to as the E8x. Phil Quaife (born 27 March 1986) is a British racing driver. Career Quaife enjoyed a successful start to his racing career.
