2016 Texas Bowl
The 2016 Texas Bowl was an American college football bowl game played on December 28, 2016 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Sponsored by the AdvoCare nutrition and sports performance company, it is officially known as the AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl. It was one of the 2016–17 bowl games concluding the 2016 FBS football season. The eleventh edition of the Texas Bowl, it featured the Kansas State Wildcats of the Big 12 Conference against the Texas A&M Aggies of the Southeastern Conference. This was the first meeting between the two teams since Texas A&M left the Big 12 Conference after the 2011 season. NRG Stadium
NRG Stadium, formerly Reliant Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Houston, Texas, United States. Construction was completed in 2002, at a cost of $352 million and has a seating capacity of 72,220. It was the first NFL facility to have a retractable roof. The stadium is the home of the National Football League's Houston Texans, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Texas Bowl, many of the United States men's national soccer team's matches, Mexico national football team friendlies where ''El Tri'' serves as the host, and other events. The stadium served as the host facility for Super Bowls XXXVIII (2004) and LI (2017), and WrestleMania 25 (2009). AdvoCare International, LLC is an American dietary supplement company. They are a direct sales company and a former multi-level marketing company that was charged with operating a pyramid scheme. The company, headquartered in Richardson, TX, was founded in 1993 by Charles Ragus. History Charles Ragus founded AdvoCare in 1993 as a multi-level marketing (MLM) company to distribute dietary supplement products. The name AdvoCare is short for "Advocates Who Care". Before founding AdvoCare, Ragus worked as a regional vice president for Fidelity Union Insurance, and as a MLM distributor for Herbalife. Kansas State Wildcats Football Bowl Games
Kansas () is a state in the Midwestern United States. Its capital is Topeka, and its largest city is Wichita. Josh Reynolds (American Football)
Joshua Reynolds (born February 16, 1995) is an American football wide receiver for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M and holds the school's season receiving touchdown record with 13, set in 2014. Reynolds was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Early years Reynolds was born on February 16, 1995, in San Antonio, Texas. Trevor Knight
Trevor A. Knight (born October 3, 1993) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Oklahoma and Texas A&M. After leading Oklahoma to an 8–5 record in the 2014 season, he lost the starting job in an open quarterback competition to Texas Tech transfer Baker Mayfield prior to the 2015 season. On January 4, 2016, it was announced that Knight would transfer to Texas A&M University. Following his college career, Knight went undrafted in 2017 and was signed by the Arizona Cardinals. Byron Pringle (born November 17, 1993) is an American football wide receiver of the National Football League (NFL). Pringle first played college football at Butler Community College before transferring to finish his collegiate career at Kansas State. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs when he went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft. He was originally signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2018, and was also a member of the Indianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packers. The 2016 Texas A&M Aggies football team represented Texas A&M University in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Aggies played their home games at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas and competed in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
