Clodomiro Carranza (born 26 April 1982) is an Argentinian professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica, having previously played on the European Tour, Web.com Tour and Tour de las Américas. Professional career Carranza turned professional in 2002 and played much of his early career on the Argentine national professional golf tour. His first professional win came at the 2005 Acantilados Grand Prix on the PGA of Argentina Tour. In 2005 Carranza became a member of the Tour de las Américas and achieved his first win on the tour at the 2008 Carlos Franco Invitational. From 2005 to 2008 Carranza also played a limited number of events on the Challenge Tour before gaining playing rights for the European Tour for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Sergio Acevedo (golfer)
Sergio Edgardo Acevedo (born 1 May 1956) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician, formerly a provincial governor and secretary in the national government. Life and times Born in Esquel, Chubut Province, Acevedo moved to Pico Truncado in 1958. He became a lawyer and married, having three children. He was elected mayor of Pico Truncando in 1983, serving until 1987 when he became a provincial deputy. In 1991 he returned to be mayor. From 1995 to 1999, Acevedo was a national deputy, and became vice-governor of Santa Cruz Province under then-governor Néstor Kirchner. In 2001 he was elected once again to Congress. Acevedo was appointed Secretary of Intelligence by President Eduardo Duhalde, serving from 2002 to mid-2003. Fabián Eduardo Gómez (born 27 October 1978) is an Argentine professional golfer who has played on a number of the world's golf tours including the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, PGA Tour Latinoamérica and the Tour de las Americas. The Coast Open, or Abierto del Litoral, is a golf tournament played in Argentina. Founded in 1932 as the Torneo de Profesionales (Professional Tournament), a name only used for the first two editions, it has always been played at the Rosario Golf Club in Rosario, Santa Fe. The tournament has been a fixture on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica Developmental Series. It was previously an annual stop on the higher level Tour de las Américas from 2000 until 2010 having been an event on that tours predecessor, the South American Tour, between 1993 and 1999. It was also included on the European Challenge Tour schedule in 2007 (2008 Challenge Tour, 2008 season), being one of five tournaments held in Latin America, and four in Argentina, that season. Fidel de Luca has the most victories, with eight. In 1932, 1952 and 1983 the championship ended in a tie, with no playoff being held to determine an outright winner. Daniel Vancsik (born 7 January 1977) is an Argentine professional golfer. Early life Vancsik was born in Posadas, Argentina. He started playing the game when he was 12 at the Tacuru Club in Posadas-Misiones-Argentina.
