2016 Sugar Bowl
The 2016 Sugar Bowl is a bowl game that was played on January 1, 2016 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This 81st Sugar Bowl was played between the University of Mississippi and Oklahoma State University. It is one of the 2015–16 bowl games that concluded the 2015 FBS football season. The Caesars Superdome, commonly known as the Superdome (formerly known as Mercedes-Benz Superdome), is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The Sugar Bowl is an annual American college football bowl game played in New Orleans, Louisiana. Played annually since January 1, 1935, it is tied with the Orange Bowl and Sun Bowl as the second-oldest bowl games in the country, surpassed only by the Rose Bowl Game. The 2010 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic game was a post-season college football bowl game between the Oklahoma State Cowboys, representing Oklahoma State University, from the Big 12 Conference and the Ole Miss Rebels, representing the University of Mississippi, from the Southeastern Conference that took place on Saturday, January 2, 2010, at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The 2004 Cotton Bowl Classic was a post-season college football bowl game between the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Ole Miss Rebels on January 2, 2004, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. The 1970 Sugar Bowl was the 36th edition of the college football bowl game, played at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Thursday, January 1.
