2016 Munster Senior Football Championship
The 2016 Munster Senior Football Championship was the 2016 installment of the annual Munster Senior Football Championship held under the auspices of Munster GAA. It is one of the four provincial competitions of the 2016 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. Kerry entered the competition as defending Munster champions and retained their title after a 3-17 to 2-10 victory over Tipperary Last year's Munster finalists receive a bye into this year's Munster semi-finals. The four remaining teams play two quarter-final matches with the winners completing the semi-final line-up. All matches are knock-out. Éamonn Fitzmaurice
Éamonn Fitzmaurice (born 1977) is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player. He played at senior level for the Kerry county team and later managed it between 2012 and 2018, during which time he became a member of an exclusive club of people to have won All-Ireland SFC titles as a player and as a manager. He has been involved in 8 All Ireland wins - 1 minor, 2 under 21, 3 senior All Irelands as a player with Kerry, 1 All Ireland club junior with Finuge, 1 All Ireland as a selector and 1 All Ireland as a manager with Kerry. Cork Senior Football Team
The Cork county football team represents Cork in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Cork GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Munster Senior Football Championship and the National Football League. 1896 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
The 1896 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the tenth staging of Ireland's premier Gaelic football knock-out competition. It was the first championship in which a goal was worth three points. Limerick won their second, and so far last, title. John Brudair
John Brudair is a Gaelic football and hurling manager. He was appointed manager of the Limerick county football team in 2013. He managed the team until 2016, when he stepped down. While managing Limerick in 2016, Brudair chose St Conleth's Park in Newbridge ahead of Croke Park when it came to the important choice of football versus an All-Ireland senior camogie final which had a team in it that he was also managing on the side, showing his commitment and dedication to the development of Limerick football over camogie. Brudair told the press at the time: "My priority is with Limerick at the moment and hopefully I can get to some of the camogie after." The Limerick County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, Coiste Chontae Luimneach) or Limerick GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Limerick. The 2014 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 127th edition of the GAA's premier inter-county Gaelic football since its establishment in 1887. It was played between 31 counties of Ireland (excluding Kilkenny), London and New York. The 2012 Munster Senior Football Championship was that year's installment of the annual Munster Senior Football Championship held under the auspices of the Munster GAA. It was won by Cork who defeated Clare in the final. It was Cork's 37th title. This was Clare's first appearance in the final since 2000. The winning Cork team received the Munster Championship Cup, and automatically advanced to the quarter-final stage of the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. 2010 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
The 2010 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 124th edition of the GAA's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament, played between 31 of the 32 counties of Ireland plus London and New York. The draw for the championship took place on 22 October 2009. The championship began on 2 May 2010 and concluded with the All-Ireland final at Croke Park on 19 September 2010. Cork defeated Down by 0-16 to 0-15 to win their seventh All-Ireland senior title, and their first since 1990.
