President Of Mexico
The president of Mexico ( es, link=no, Presidente de México), officially the president of the United Mexican States ( es, link=no, Presidente de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos), is the head of state and head of government of Mexico. Under the Constitution of Mexico, the president heads the executive branch of the federal government and is the commander-in-chief of the Mexican Armed Forces. The current president is Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who took office on 1 December 2018. The office of the president is considered to be revolutionary, in the sense that the powers of office are derived from the Revolutionary Constitution of 1917. Another legacy of the Mexican Revolution is the Constitution's ban on re-election. Mexican presidents are limited to a single six-year term, called a '' sexenio''. José Antonio Meade
José Antonio Meade Kuribreña (; born 27 February 1969) is a Mexican politician, economist, lawyer, and diplomat. He served as a cabinet minister under President of Mexico, Presidents Felipe Calderón and Enrique Peña Nieto in a variety of portfolios, becoming the first Mexican official appointed to cabinet five times. He was the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) candidate in the 2018 Mexican general election, 2018 presidential election, where he placed third. Biography Meade is the son of Dionisio Meade y Garcia de Leon, Dionisio Meade and his wife Lucía, daughter of the lawyer and sculptor José Kuribreña. Martín Orozco Sandoval
Martín Orozco Sandoval (born 25 June 1967) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the PAN, who served as the Governor of Aguascalientes from 2016 to 2022. From 2012 to 2016, he represented Aguascalientes in the Senate during the LXII and LXIII Legislatures. He also was the Municipal President of Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes from 2005 to 2007. Life Orozco Sandoval worked as a private accountant from 1983 to 1995 and obtained his degree in accounting from the Universidad Panamericana, Bonaterra campus, in 1996. He began his career in the PAN not long after. From 1999 to 2001, he was the secretary of social development for the city of Aguascalientes, and in 2001, he left that post to become a state deputy to the LVII Legislature of Aguascalientes. Luis Videgaray Caso
Luis Videgaray Caso (born August 10, 1968) is a Mexican politician who served as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs from 2017 to 2018. Previously he was the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, also in the cabinet of Enrique Peña Nieto, from 2012 to 2016. Prior to Peña Nieto's victory in the elections, Videgaray was General Coordinator of his campaign for the 2012 Mexican presidential election. On July 11, 2012, Peña Nieto announced Videgaray as the person in charge of promoting the economic reforms and the government agenda's related topics, and on September 4, he named Videgaray as co-head of the team that set policy direction for the new government that took office on December 1, 2012. José Narro Robles (born December 5, 1948 in Saltillo, Coahuila) is a Mexican researcher, academic, and politician. He is a former director of the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and was elected its 23rd Rector on November 20, 2007. After two 4-year periods leading UNAM, in February 2016, he was appointed by Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto to replace Mercedes Juan as head of the Mexican Secretariat of Health. Mercedes Martha Juan López (born 22 April 1943), is a Mexican doctor, member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, has been a federal deputy and first female Secretary of Health between 1 December 2012 and 8 February 2016.
