The Green Bay Blizzard season was the team's fourteenth season as a professional indoor football franchise and seventh in the Indoor Football League (IFL). One of ten teams that competed in the IFL for the 2016 season, the Green Bay Blizzard were members of the United Conference. Ahman Green
Ahman Rashad Green (; born February 16, 1977) is a former American football running back who played 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Green played college football at Nebraska and was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 3rd round of the 1998 NFL Draft, playing there for two seasons before being traded to the Green Bay Packers, with whom he played for eight of the next ten seasons. Green also played for the Houston Texans, and was a four-time Pro Bowl selection with the Packers, where he holds the franchise record for rushing yards. He is currently the head esports coach at Lakeland University. Early years Green was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and attended Omaha North before transferring to Omaha Central for high school. He was a high school All-American selection and state 'Player of the Year' as a senior. In addition to football, he also ran track and field. The ''Green Bay Press-Gazette'' is a newspaper whose primary coverage is of northeastern Wisconsin, including Green Bay. It was founded as the ''Green Bay Gazette'' in 1866 as a weekly paper, becoming a daily newspaper in 1871. Cory Grissom (born June 9, 1990) is a retired American football defensive end who played for the Green Bay Blizzard and Nebraska Danger of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played college football for the University of South Florida. Professional career New England Patriots On May 3, 2013, he signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent. On August 26, 2013, he was placed on the injured reserve list and missed the rest of the 2013 season. He was released on March 12, 2014. DeAndre Brown (born October 12, 1989) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at Southern Miss. He played high school football at Ocean Springs High School. College career Brown made his decision to go to University of Southern Mississippi on National Signing Day. He attended it from 2008 to 2010. As a freshman, he caught 67 passes for 1,117 yards. As a sophomore, he caught 47 passes for 785 yards and nine touchdowns. During his junior year, he played seven of thirteen games, and caught 20 passes for 305 yards and three touchdowns. Matt Behrendt is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the offensive coordinator for the Green Bay Blizzard of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played college football at University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. Behrendt was a member of three NCAA Division III Football Championship-winning teams with the Wisconsin–Whitewater Warhawks football program, one as a backup in 2011 and two as the team's starting quarterback, in 2013 and 2014. Early life and college career Behrendt grew up in Illinois and attended Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Illinois, playing football and basketball for the school and was selected as an all-area athlete. Toyota Center (Kennewick)
The Toyota Center is a multi-purpose arena in the northwest United States, located in Kennewick, Washington. Opened in 1988 as the Tri-Cities Coliseum, the arena's name was changed in 2004 to the Three Rivers Coliseum to match the Three Rivers Convention Center, which was built next door in the same year. In October 2005, a deal was reached between the city of Kennewick and Toyota, which agreed to pay $2 million over ten years for naming rights. The city uses the funds for needed improvements and upgrades to the facility. A smaller facility next door, built by the city in 1998, was named "Toyota Arena."
