2016 Georgia Bulldogs Football Team
The 2016 Georgia Bulldogs football team represented the University of Georgia in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Bulldogs played their home games at Sanford Stadium. Kirby Smart
Kirby Paul Smart (born December 23, 1975) is an American football coach and former player. He is the current head football coach of the Georgia Bulldogs, his alma mater. He coached the 2021 Bulldogs to a national championship victory, their first title win since 1980. Early life Smart was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and grew up in Bainbridge, Georgia. Smart began his playing career at Bainbridge High School and went on to play college football at the University of Georgia, where he was teammates with defensive linemen Antonio Cochran, Emarlos Leroy, linebacker Brandon Tolbert, and Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Champ Bailey. Smart was a four-year letterman at defensive back for Georgia and a first-team All- SEC selection as a senior. Greyson Lambert
Greyson Bryce Lambert (born February 7, 1994) is a former American football quarterback who began his college football career at the University of Virginia, where he spent three seasons playing for the Virginia Cavaliers. After the 2014 season, he transferred to the University of Georgia and played two seasons for the Georgia Bulldogs. Early years Lambert attended Wayne County High School in Jesup, Georgia, where he was teammates with Tre' Jackson. In his three varsity seasons, he had 4,282 passing yards and 38 touchdowns. Bryan McClendon
Bryan McClendon (born December 28, 1983) is an American football coach who is currently the wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator at the University of Georgia. He previously served as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach at the University of Oregon from 2020 to 2021 and interim head coach in the Alamo Bowl in 2021. McClendon was previously the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach for the University of South Carolina. Mark Allan Richt (born February 18, 1960) is a retired American football head coach, former player, and television analyst. He was the head football coach at the University of Georgia for 15 years and at the University of Miami, his alma mater, for three.
