Olena Dmytrivna Kostevych ( ua, Олена Дмитрівна Костевич, born 14 April 1985) is a Ukrainian pistol shooter. She is the 2004 Olympic champion in the 10 metre air pistol event, 2002 World champion in 10 m air pistol event and 2018 World champion in 25 m pistol event. She is also multiple European Championships champion and medalist as well as Universiade champion. Personal life Kostevych was born in Khabarovsk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. She moved to her mother's city Chernihiv and she was a student at the Chernihiv State Technological University in Chernihiv, Ukraine. Career Kostevych competes for Ukraine. At the age of 17, she won the 10 m air pistol event at the 2002 ISSF World Shooting Championships. She followed this with a victory in the 2003 ISSF World Cup Final, and an Olympic gold medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Oleh Petrovych Omelchuk ( uk, Олег Петрович Омельчук; born 7 June 1983) is a Ukrainian sport shooter who competes in the men's 10 metre air pistol and the men's 50 metre pistol. He is the 2014 European 10 m pistol champion. Career Omelchuk has represented Ukraine at three Olympics. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he finished in 16th place in the men's 10 m air pistol, and in 4th place in the 50 m pistol, losing out on the bronze medal to Russia's Vladimir Isakov in a shoot-off. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Omelchuk finished 5th in the final round of the men's 10 m air pistol and in 29th place in the men's 50 m pistol. Biography Mikec represented Serbia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, People's Republic of China. He earned his qualification by finishing 6th at the 2007 World Cup #1 Rifle, Pistol in Fort Benning, United States of America. In Beijing, Mikec reached the final in Shooting at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's 50 metre pistol, 50 metre pistol and finished 7th. In Shooting at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's 10 metre air pistol, 10 metre air pistol he missed the final by a one-point margin and finished 13th.
