2016 Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy
The 2016 Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy is the third season of the Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy, an auto racing championship recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, running in support of the World Rally Championship. It uses Ford Fiesta R2Ts. It was also the last season of the series, as the suppliers of the Junior WRC changed from Citroen to M-Sport in 2017. 2016 World Rally Championship
The 2016 World Rally Championship was the 44th season of the World Rally Championship, an auto racing championship recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as the highest class of international rallying. Teams and drivers competed in thirteen rounds—starting with the Rallye Monte Carlo in January and finishing with Rally Australia in November—for the World Rally Championships for Drivers and Manufacturers. Sébastien Ogier started the season as the defending drivers' champion. His team, Volkswagen Motorsport, were the defending manufacturers' champions. Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy
The Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy (also known as the Drive DMACK Cup in 2014) was a complementary series to the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) held since 2014 till 2016 WRC seasons. Drivers used the same cars produced by M-Sport - Ford Fiesta R2 and the same tyres provided by DMACK. The winner was entered in WRC-2 for DMACK World Rally Team the following season. The 2016 Rally Finland (formally known as the 66. Neste Rally Finland) was the eighth round of the 2016 World Rally Championship, 2016 World Rally Championship season, an auto racing event for rallying, rally cars. It was held over twenty-four super special stage, stages based in and around Jyväskylä in central Finland from 28 July to 31 July 2016, with competitors covering of competitive kilometres. It was won by Northern Irishman Kris Meeke, his second win of the season. Meeke established a new record for the fastest FIA WRC round in history - the 126.60 km/h average speed beat the previous record by 1.2 km/h. The event was held over four days between 30 June and 3 July 2016, and was based in Mikołajki, Poland. Sebastian Ogier and Julien Ingrassia were the defending rally winners having won the event in the previous two seasons.
