Pokey Chatman
Dana "Pokey" Chatman (born June 18, 1969) is currently an assistant coach for the Seattle Storm in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Chatman is the former head coach of the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky of the WNBA. She is also the former head coach of the LSU Lady Tigers basketball team and the Spartak Moscow women's basketball team. Chatman spent the first 20 years of her adult life at LSU as a player (1987–1991), student assistant (1991–1992), assistant coach (1992–2004) and head coach (2004–2007). After succeeding longtime coach Sue Gunter in 2004, Chatman led the Lady Tigers to three consecutive NCAA Final Fours in 2004 (as acting head coach for the ailing Gunter), 2005, and 2006. Jacki Gemelos
Jacqueline Ann Gemelos (Greek: Τζάκι Γέμελου; born November 22, 1988) is an American-Greek former professional basketball player and coach. Early life and college career Born and raised in Stockton, California, Jacqueline Ann Gemelos graduated from St. Mary's High School in 2006. Gemelos was widely regarded as the most recruited player in her high school class, but she suffered five knee injuries during her high school and college career. At USC, Gemelos missed the 2006–07 through 2008–09 seasons due to injuries, before making her collegiate debut on February 4, 2010, at Cal and had eight points, five rebounds, and five assists. She ended the 2009–10 season averaging 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. Gemelos completed her bachelor's degree in sociology at USC in 2010 and master's degree in gerontology in 2012. Betnijah Laney (born October 29, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She played college basketball for Rutgers University. Early life Laney started playing basketball at 10 years old, largely thanks to her mother having played basketball competitively. Her best friends are Aiyannah Peal and Sydni Epps. High school and college career Laney attended Smyrna High School in Smyrna, Delaware where she averaged 23.7 points, 10 rebounds, 4.4 steals, 4.3 assists and 1.2 blocks per game as a senior and was named a McDonald's All-American. Tamera Young
Tamera "Ty" Young (born October 30, 1986) is a former American basketball player who is currently a free agent. After playing collegiately for James Madison University, Young was drafted by the Atlanta Dream with the 8th overall pick of the 2008 WNBA Draft. She was traded to the Chicago Sky, and led them to the WNBA Finals in 2015, then came back to Atlanta, and was traded to the Aces in 2018. Cheyenne Parker (born August 22, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Early life Parker was born and raised in Queens, New York and grew up in a single mother home. Later on in life, she and her mother moved to High Point, North Carolina to help accommodate her with more basketball opportunities. She enrolled at Southwest Guilford High School and played for the girls' basketball team. College career After graduating from Southwest Guilford High School, Parker enrolled at High Point Panthers women's basketball, High Point University. Western Michigan University (Western Michigan, Western or WMU) is a public research university in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
