2016 Campeonato Nacional De Velocidade Turismos
The 2016 Campeonato Nacional de Velocidade Turismos is the second season of the TCR Portuguese Series. Starting from this season, the championship will run separate from the GT Class of the championship (that will form che ''Endurance'' Class) organised by FullEventos. As for the Italian series, TCR cars will be placed side by side with TCS, also with the addition of a trophy cars category (TCC class). Teams and drivers Hankook is the official tyre supplier. Calendar and results The 2016 schedule was announced on 3 December 2015, with one out of five events scheduled to be held in Spain. A reserve round was scheduled at Autódromo do Estoril for 27 November. The race format is divided into Sprint and Double Sprint: the first one contemplates two 25-minute-long races, the second one is formed by four 20-minute-long races. TCR Portuguese Series
A TCR Touring Car is a touring car specification, first introduced in 2014 and is now employed by a multitude of series worldwide. All TCR Touring Cars are front-wheel drive cars based on 4 or 5 door production vehicles, and are powered by 1.75 to 2.0 litre turbocharged engines. While the bodyshell and suspension layout of the production vehicle is retained in a TCR car, and many models use a production gearbox, certain accommodations are made for the stresses of the racetrack including upgraded brakes and aerodynamics. Competition vehicles are subject to Balance of Performance (or BoP) adjustments to ensure close racing between different vehicles. 2016 Spanish F4 Championship
The 2016 F4 Spanish Championship was the inaugural season of the Spanish F4 Championship, a motor racing series regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, taking place in Spain and Portugal. The championship featured drivers competing in 1.4 litre Tatuus-Abarth single seat race cars that conformed to the technical regulations for the championship. The series was organised by Koiranen GP and RFEDA. It began on 11 June at the Circuito de Navarra and finished on 16 October at the Circuito del Jarama after 20 races held across seven rounds. Portimão () is a city and a municipality in the district of Faro, in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. The population in 2011 was 55,614, in an area of 182.06 km2. The 2016 FIA European Touring Car Cup was the twelfth running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It consisted of six events in France (twice), Slovakia, Germany, Portugal and Italy. Vila Real () is the capital and largest city of the Vila Real District, in the North region. It is also the seat of the Douro intermunicipal community and of the Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro historical province. Circuito Internacional De Vila Real
The Circuito Internacional de Vila Real is a temporary street circuit in Vila Real, Portugal. This circuit was used for car and moto races. The circuit The circuit layout has suffered several changes through the times. Started as a street circuit in 1931, it was later reduced to a version in the 1950s, which lasted until 1991, with small chances in some corner, chicanes introduction and start/finish line being moved forward. After a deadly accident in 1991, no race would take place in this circuit until 2007, after a length reduction to a long renovated layout. From the original circuit, remains the up and downhill section, from turn 6 (Boque), until turn 19, that drivers used to turn left. This section also gives the track big elevation changes.
