2016 ADAC GT Masters
The 2016 ADAC GT Masters was the tenth season of the ADAC GT Masters, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the German automobile club ADAC. The season started on 15 April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and ended on 2 October at Hockenheim after seven double-header meetings. Entry list Race calendar and results The seven-event calendar for the 2015 season was announced on 13 November 2015. It was held along with the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters at the Lausitzring. Championship standings ;Scoring system Championship points were awarded for the first ten positions in each race. Entries were required to complete 75% of the winning car's race distance in order to be classified and earn points. Individual drivers were required to participate for a minimum of 25 minutes in order to earn championship points in any race. 2016 ADAC Formula 4 Championship
The 2016 ADAC Formula 4 season was the second season of the ADAC Formula 4. It began on 16 April at Oschersleben and finished on 2 October at Hockenheim after seven triple header rounds. Teams and drivers Race calendar All rounds were part of the ADAC GT Masters weekends, with the exception of round 4 which supported the TCR International Series. Championship standings Points were awarded to the top 10 classified finishers in each race. No points were awarded for pole position or fastest lap. For the third race in Zandvoort, only half points were awarded because of a premature crash. GRT Grasser Racing Team
Gottfried Grasser GmbH racing as GRT Grasser Racing Team is an Austrian racing team. The team has raced in various Group GT3 based racing series with support from Lamborghini since 2015. Gottfried Grasser Team founder Ing. Gottfried Grasser (born 8 December 1978 in Leoben, Styria) started karting in 1997. Grasser raced in Formula König in 1999 and 2000. He finished third in the rookie standings in 1999. In 2001 and 2002 Grasser joined Team Ghinzani in their German F3 campaign. Marco Holzer
Marco Holzer (born 30 July 1988) is a German professional racing driver. He has competed in sports car competitions such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, American Le Mans Series and Le Mans Series as a Porsche works driver. Career Born in Bobingen, Bavaria, Holzer graduated from karting in 2003, and raced at the Formula BMW ADAC formula championship from 2004 to 2006. In 2006 he competed at the Formula 3 Euro Series, where he scored no points. In 2008, Holzer switched to sports car racing, finishing fifth at the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. He signed as Porsche junior works driver, and raced at the 2009 FIA GT Championship for Prospeed and VLN for Manthey, in both cases driving a Porsche 911. Guy Smith (born 12 September 1974) is a semi-retired British professional racing driver who has competed in various levels of motorsport, most notably the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which he won in 2003, and the American Le Mans Series, which he won in 2011. Jordan Lee Pepper (born 31 July 1996 in Edenvale) is a South African racing driver, currently competing in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. He is the son of former South African Touring Car driver Iain Pepper and younger brother of W Series driver Tasmin Pepper. Daniel Abt
Daniel Johannes Abt (born 3 December 1992) is a German former racing driver. He has competed in such series as the German Formula Three Championship, the GP3 Series, the GP2 Series, and won the 2009 ADAC Formel Masters championship. He competed in the first four rounds of the 2019–20 Formula E season with ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport, however he was dismissed from the team after being found to be using a ringer driver in the sport's subsequent virtual races. He completed the remainder of the season at Nio 333 FE Team replacing Ma Qinghua. He is currently on a hiatus from competitive racing, having chosen to take up a broadcasting role with Sat.1 as part of their Formula E coverage. The Bentley Continental GT is a grand tourer manufactured and marketed by British automaker Bentley Motors since 2003. It was the first car released by Bentley under Volkswagen AG management, after the company's acquisition in 1998, and the first Bentley to employ mass production manufacturing techniques.
