2015–16 UEFA Women's Champions League Knockout Phase
The 2015–16 UEFA Women's Champions League knockout phase began on 7 October 2015 and concluded on 26 May 2016 with the final at Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia, Italy, which decided the champions of the 2015–16 UEFA Women's Champions League. A total of 32 teams competed in the knockout phase. Times from 25 October 2015 up to 26 March 2016 (round of 16 and quarter-finals first legs) were CET (UTC+1), all other times were CEST (UTC+2). Round and draw dates The schedule of the competition was as follows (all draws were held at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland). Format The knockout phase involved 32 teams: 24 teams which qualified directly, and the eight group winners from the qualifying round. Each tie in the knockout phase, apart from the final, was played over two legs, with each team playing one leg at home. FC Rosengård, formerly Malmö FF Dam (1970–2007) and LdB FC Malmö (2007–2013), is a professional football club based in Malmö, Scania, Sweden. The team was established as Malmö FF Dam in 1970. KIF Örebro DFF is a Swedish women's football club based in Örebro. Founded in 1980 as the women's football section of multi-sports association Karlslunds IF, the club's first team currently plays in the Damallsvenskan, the top level of the women's football pyramid in Sweden. FC Zorky Krasnogorsk was a Russian women's football team from Krasnogorsk founded in 2006, competing in the Russian Championship. In 2012 it reached the national cup's final, lost to Zvezda Perm. In its first top division season the team reached the runners-up spot in the league and thus qualified to the 2012–13 UEFA Women's Champions League.
