2015–16 TCU Horned Frogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represented Texas Christian University in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, led by head coach Trent Johnson in his fourth and final season at TCU. The Horned Frogs were members of the Big 12 Conference and played their home games at Schollmaier Arena, which reopened in December after a $72 million upgrade. Some early season, non-conference games were played in the TCU University Recreation Center and the Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center while construction on Schollmaier Arena was completed. The Horned Frogs finished the season 12–21, 2–16 in Big 12 play to finish in last place. Trent Johnson
Trent Aubrey Johnson (born September 12, 1956) is an American college basketball coach who is currently head coach at Cal State Northridge. Johnson had previously been the head coach at Texas Christian University, Louisiana State University, Stanford University, and University of Nevada. Early life and education Johnson was born in Berkeley, California. He graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle, Washington in 1974 and played at Boise State University from 1974 to 1978. He received his bachelor's degree in physical education from Boise State in 1983. Coaching career Nevada The University of Nevada, Reno hired Johnson as head coach for Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball on March 7, 1999. Canarias Basketball Academy
Canarias Basketball Academy is a basketball institute based in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Its senior team currently plays in the Spanish Basketball Federation with their U18 and U16 teams. The junior team usually participates in the Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Tournament. It also takes part in different tournaments in the USA such as the MaxPreps Tournament, the Hoop Group Under Armour and the Adidas Nations. Vladimír Brodziansky (born 8 May 1994) is a Slovak professional basketball player for Club Joventut Badalona of the Liga ACB. He played college basketball for the TCU Horned Frogs. College career Brodziansky is a native of Prievidza, Slovakia and moved to the United States in August 2014. He enrolled at Pratt Community College and played one season, where he averaged 15.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Afterwards, he transferred to TCU to play under Trent Johnson. After coach Jamie Dixon arrived in 2016, he worked to improve Brodziansky's strength, weight and endurance.
