2015–16 Rugby Pro D2 Season
The 2015–16 Rugby Pro D2 was the second-level French rugby union club competition, behind the Top 14, for the 2015–16 season. It ran alongside the 2015–16 Top 14 season, 2015–16 Top 14 competition; both competitions are operated by the National Rugby League (France), Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR). Teams Changes in the lineup from 2014–15 Rugby Pro D2 season, 2014–15 were: * Section Paloise, Pau won the 2014–15 Pro D2 title and were thereby automatically promoted to the 2015–16 Top 14 season, Top 14. National Rugby League (France)
The French National Rugby League (french: Ligue Nationale de Rugby), known as the LNR, manages the professional rugby sector in France, by delegation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the French Rugby Federation. LNR * organises, manages and regulates the two French rugby club divisions, Top 14 and Rugby Pro D2, * promotes and develops the professional sector of French rugby clubs, and represents it in the management of European cups, * negotiates and markets the television and partnership rights of the French Rugby Championship TOP 14 and PRO D2, and * assures the defence of the material and moral interests of professional rugby. Stadium Municipal D'Albi
The Stadium Municipal d'Albi is a multi-purpose stadium in Albi, France. It is currently used for rugby league as the home ground of Racing Club Albi XIII and rugby union as the home of SC Albi. After an expansion project completed in 2007, the stadium holds 13,000 with 8,000 seated. History Built and opened in 1964 the ground immediately became the home of the towns two rugby clubs Racing Club Albi XIII and Sporting Club Albi. The ground is also used for athletic meetings. The ground originally had a main cantilever stand which held 1,800 seated spectators and a smaller unseated stand for 1,200, at either end there were semi-circular standing terraces. Bourgoin-Jallieu (; frp, Brégon) is a commune in the Isère department in the region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in France. The city had 28,834 inhabitants in 2019 and lies 35 kilometres east-southeast of Lyon. It was formed by the merger of the former communes Bourgoin and Jallieu in 1965.
