Ishaq Dar
Muhammad Ishaq Dar ( ur, ; born ) is Pakistani accountant and member of the Senate serving as the 42nd Finance Minister of Pakistan since September 28, 2022. Dar was declared a Proclaimed Offender in 2017 and 2022, respectively. After his return to Pakistan on 26 September 2022, he was no longer declared a Proclaimed Offender. He has been a member of the Senate from 2008. He is a former Minister for Industries and Investment, Minister for Commerce and is the fourth time Minister for Finance of Pakistan since 28 September 2022. Born in 1950 and grew up in Lahore, Dar was educated at the Hailey College of Commerce, Government College University, later attending the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
