The 2015–16 season was PFC CSKA Sofia's 1st season in the Bulgarian V Football Group. CSKA started the 2015/2016 season in V group (3rd division) as they did not receive a licence to play in A group due to unpaid debts. CSKA finished in first place in the standings. PFC CSKA Sofia
CSKA Sofia ( bg, ЦСКА София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia and currently competing in the country's premier football competition, the First League. ''CSKA'' is an abbreviation for ''Central Sports Club of the Army'' ( bg, Централен Спортен Клуб на Армията). Officially established on 5 May 1948, CSKA's roots date back to an army officers' club founded in 1923. The club has won a record 31 Bulgarian titles and 21 Bulgarian Cups. Internationally, CSKA are the only Bulgarian club to have reached the semi-finals of the European Cup, which they have done twice, and they have also reached the semi-final of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup once. Stoyan Kolev
Stoyan Kolev ( bg, Стоян Колев; born 3 February 1976, in Sliven) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently a goalkeeper coach at CSKA Sofia. Career In summer of 2001 Kolev joined CSKA Sofia and was loaned to Beroe Stara Zagora on a three-month deal. He made his debut for Beroe on 10 November 2001, keeping a clean sheet in a 0–0 draw against Levski Sofia. In early 2002 he returned to CSKA. On 11 May 2002, Kolev made his first appearance for CSKA in a 0–2 loss against Slavia Sofia. He started 2002–03 season as the first choice goalkeeper in CSKA and kept a total of 13 clean sheets in 24 appearances and conceding only 14 goals at less than a goal a game as CSKA won their 29th A PFG title. After staying for two years with Romanian side Oțelul Galați, Kolev signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Chernomorets Burgas on 24 February 2010, moving on a free transfer. Kostadin Hazurov
Kostadin Hazurov ( bg, Костадин Хазуров; born 5 August 1985) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a striker. Career Hazurov began his career at Pirin. In 2004, he moved to CSKA Sofia making his official debut in Bulgarian A Professional Football Group in a match against Botev Plovdiv on 27 March 2004. The result of the match was 4:1 with win for CSKA. Two months later, in May 2004, Hazurov scored three goals against Belasitsa Petrich (he is the youngest player in the A PFG to have achieved such a feat). In the following season he scored 6 goals in 22 league games for the eventual league champions. In 2005 Hazurov joined Litex Lovech. On 14 August 2005, he sustained an injury in a match against his former club CSKA Sofia, which kept him out of action for five months, but eventually Hazurov began regaining his shape. Vasil Popov
Vasil Emilov Popov ( bg, Васил Емилов Попов; born 19 November 1995) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a defender. Career Born in Sofia, Popov began playing football in 2002, in the youth team of CSKA Sofia. He made his first team debut on 15 December 2012 at 17 years 17 days, in a 5–0 win over Chavdar Etropole for Bulgarian Cup, coming on as a substitute for Ivan Bandalovski. On 10 March 2013, Popov made his league debut, coming on as a first-half substitute during the 2–0 win over Chernomorets Burgas. On 18 February 2017, Popov was loaned to Tsarsko Selo until the end of the season. On 29 July 2017, Popov joined Lokomotiv Sofia.
