2015–16 Oman Professional League Cup
The 2015–16 Oman Professional League Cup (known as the ''Mazda Professional Cup'' for sponsorship reasons) was the fifth edition of a domestic football competition held in Oman. The competition features four groups of 3-4 teams (Group A and B featured 4 teams and Group C and D featured 3 teams), with the group stage winners entering the semi-finals stage. Groups featuring three sides played each other thrice so that each team could play 6 matches in the group phase. The competition featured all the clubs playing in the top flight in the 2015–16 season. The competition began on 5 September 2015, and concluded on 27 March 2016. On Sunday 27 March 2016, Al-Nasr S.C.S.C. were crowned the champions defeating Sohar SC 2-0 in the finals and hence winning the title for the first time. Al-Seeb, As Seeb or As Sib ( ar, السيب) is a coastal fishing city, located several kilometres northwest of Muscat, in northeastern Oman. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 470,878. Al-Seeb Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Seeb, Oman, Seeb, Oman. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of Al-Seeb Club. Abdoulaye Koffi (born 30 December 1991) is an Ivorian footballer who plays for Al-Hudood SC in the Iraqi Premier League. Nizwa
Nizwa ( ar, نِزْوَى, Nizwā) is the largest city in Ad Dakhiliyah Region in Oman and was the capital of Oman proper. Nizwa is about (1.5 hours) from Muscat. Al-Bāţinah ( ar, ٱلْبَاطِنَة) was one of the regions ''( Mintaqat)'' of Oman. On 28 October 2011, Al-Batinah Region was split into Al Batinah North Governorate and Al Batinah South Governorate. The region occupied an important location on the coast of Gulf of Oman.
