Michael Vincent DiGregorio (born December 12, 1991) is a Filipino-Italian professional basketball player for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted 35th overall by the Mahindra Enforcer in the 2015 PBA draft. Professional career DiGregorio was drafted 35th overall by the Mahindra Enforcer during the fourth round of the 2015 PBA draft. On February 20, 2017, DiGregorio was signed by the Blackwater Elite. DiGregorio's play in the 2017 Commissioners Cup and 2017 Governors' Cup thrust him into being one of the finalists for the 2017 PBA Most Improved Player award at the annual PBA Leo Awards Night. Chris Gavina
Christian Gavina (born January 27, 1979) is a Filipino professional basketball coach. He served as the head coach of the Taichung Suns in the T1 League. Early life and college career Gavina was born in the Philippines and migrated to Jersey City, New Jersey when he was three years old. He played college basketball for the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. He finished second in all-time scoring for the school and have his jersey number retired after his graduation in 2001. After graduation, he worked as a formulation chemist for L'Oreal from 2004 to 2008 and then moved back to the Philippines to pursue a career in basketball. Mapúa Cardinals
The Mapúa Cardinals are the varsity sports teams of Mapúa University that play in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines). The Mapúa Cardinals holds the NCAA record for the most General Championships in the seniors' division with a total of 20—the last of these championships was won in 1993. At distant second is the Colegio de San Juan de Letran which has eight seniors' titles. Of the total seniors' GCs won by the Cardinals, ten were from the 1980s to the mid-1990s, in addition to three (out of a total eight) in the juniors' division over the same period.
