The 2015–16 Macedonian Second Football League was the 24th season of the Macedonian Second Football League, the second football division of Macedonia. FK Pobeda (2010)
FK Pobeda AD Prilep ( mk, ФК Победа АД Прилеп) is a football club based in the city of Prilep, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian First League. History The club was founded in 2010 as Viktorija (eventually renaming to Pobeda Junior) after the FK Pobeda was banned by FIFA for eight years. Legally, the two clubs' track records and honors are kept separate by the Football Federation of Macedonia. In 2015, Pobeda Junior was renamed to match the name of the old club that was suspended, Pobeda. The club was promoted to the Macedonian First League for the first time after finishing 1st in the 2015–16 Macedonian Second League. The club managed to stay in the First League for 3 seasons until it was relegated in the 2018-19 Macedonian First League, finishing in 10th. Gostivar ( mk, Гостивар , Albanian and Turkish: ''Gostivar''), is a city in North Macedonia, located in the upper Polog valley region. 2016–17 Macedonian First Football League
The 2016–17 Macedonian First League was the 25th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of Macedonia. The fixtures were announced on 25 July 2016. It began on 7 August 2016 and ended on 31 May 2017 with a winter break which began on 4 December 2016 and ended on 19 February 2017. From that season the format was changed which will each team be played the other sides four times on home-away basis, for a total of 36 matches each instead of play-off and play-out after 27th round. The league will be contested by 10 teams. Vardar are the defending champions, having won their ninth title in 2015–16. FK Gostivar
KF Gostivari ( mk, ФК Гостивар; en, FC Gostivar) is a football club based in Gostivar, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian First League. History The club was founded in 1998 FK Gostivar., not to be related with FK Gostivar 1919 which was disloved in 2010. In the 2012–13 season, Gostivar finished second and was promoted to the Macedonian First League for the first time in club history. Kičevo ( mk, Кичево ; sq, Kërçovë) is a city in the western part of North Macedonia, located in a valley in the south-eastern slopes of Mount Bistra, between the cities of Ohrid and Gostivar. Ecolog Arena
Ecolog Arena is a multi-purpose stadium in Tetovo, North Macedonia used primary for Association football, football matches. The stadium's capacity is 15,000 seats. History The stadium opened in 1981 and was called Tetovo City Stadium (Stadion Gradski Tetovo) until 2016. The Football Federation of Macedonia and the Tetovo Municipality agreed in March 2015 to renovate the stadium as a part of the UEFA "Hat-trick 4" initiative. The renovation began in April 2015 and was completed in April 2016. Floodlights to play matches at night were erected later the same year. In July 2016, Ecolog International, the owners of KF Shkëndija, took Tetovo City Stadium under concession from the Tetovo municipal council and committed to invest 7.7 million euros to renovate the stadium to be able to host international matches. Tetovo
Tetovo ( mk, Тетово, , sq, Tetovë/Tetova) is a city in the northwestern part of North Macedonia, built on the foothills of Šar Mountain and divided by the Pena River. Prilep
Prilep ( mk, Прилеп ) is the fourth-largest city in North Macedonia. It has a population of 66,246 and is known as "the city under Marko's Towers" because of its proximity to the towers of Prince Marko. Name The name of Prilep appeared first as ''Πρίλαπος''. Stadion Tumbe Kafe
Petar Miloševski Stadium () is a football stadium in Bitola, North Macedonia and the home of FK Pelister. The stadium is divided into two stands: North, which consists of 2,500 seats among which is the press box along with the team pads, and the South, which consists mainly of the Pelister supporters and seats about 5,000.
