2015–16 Livingston F.C. Season
The 2015–16 season was Livingston's fifth consecutive season in the second tier of Scottish football and their third season in the Scottish Championship. Livingston also competed in the Challenge Cup, League Cup and the Scottish Cup. Livingston finished the season in ninth place and were relegated to the third-tier of Scottish football for the first time since 2011. Summary Management Livingston began the 2015–16 season under the management of Mark Burchill who had guided the club to safety from relegation on the final day of the previous season. On the 21 December 2015, Burchill was sacked from his position as manager and was replaced by David Hopkin who was given the role until the end of the season, however he couldn't avoid the club being relegated to League One after a 6–8 aggregate loss to Stranraer in the championship play-offs. Stranraer ( , in Scotland also ; gd, An t-Sròn Reamhar ), also known as The Toon, is a town in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It is located in the historical parish of Inch in the historic county of Wigtownshire. It lies on the shores of Loch Ryan, on the northern side of the isthmus joining the Rhins of Galloway to the mainland. Stranraer is Dumfries and Galloway's second-largest town, with a population including the immediate surrounding area of nearly 13,000 inhabitants. David Zurutuza
David Zurutuza Veillet (born 19 July 1986) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a central midfielder. He spent his entire professional career contracted to Real Sociedad, with whom he made 303 competitive appearances over 12 seasons, and was also loaned to Eibar in the Segunda División. Early years Zurutuza was born in Rochefort, Charente-Maritime, France, to a French mother and a Spanish father; the family returned to the latter's native Basque Country shortly after. Forthbank Stadium is a football stadium in Stirling, Scotland. Opened in 1993, it has been the home ground of Scottish Professional Football League club Stirling Albion since then. Myles Elliot Zach Hippolyte (born 9 November 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Stockport County. Born in England, he represents Grenada at international level. Daniel Mullen (born 1 March 1995) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle. Stenhousemuir (; gd, Featha Thaigh nan Clach) is a town in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. It lies within the Falkirk (council area), Falkirk council area of Scotland. The town is north-northwest of Falkirk and directly adjoins to Larbert in the west, where the nearest rail access is located. The villages of Carron, Falkirk, Carron and Carronshore adjoin Stenhousemuir to the east but to a lesser extent.
