Kategoria Superiore Femra, known officially as ''Abissnet Superiore Femra'', is the highest division of women's association football, women's football in Albania. The league is the female equivalent to the men's Kategoria Superiore. The current season is contested by 10 clubs. History Although football is considered the most popular sport in Albania, women's association football, women's football had historically been non-evident in the country until 2007, when the first ever national tournament was held in Sarandë, from 15 to 18 August, as a promotional event for women's football. The teams who participated were amateur sides made up of a selection of players from Tirana, Shkodër, Korçë and Rubik (town), Rubik. FC Kinostudio
FC Kinostudio is an Albanian women's professional Association football, football club based in Tirana. They last competed in Kategoria Superiore Femra during the 2023–24 Albanian Women's National Championship, 2023–24 season, finishing fifth in a ten-team league. History Kinostudio was established on 8 July 2009 under the leadership of youth coach Gëzim Gjonpalaj. Several players from Tirana AS, previously coached by Skënder Hodja and later Hiqmet Hasko, joined the team. KFF Vllaznia is an Albanian women's professional football club based in Shkodër. The club is considered by UEFA to be the successor club to Ada, who disbanded in 2013. Tirana AS were an Albanian women's professional football club based in Tirana. They last competed in Kategoria Superiore Femra during the 2021–22 season, finishing tenth in an eleven-team league.
