2015–16 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Women's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets women's basketball team will represent Georgia Institute of Technology during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. Returning as head coach was MaChelle Joseph entering her 13th season. The team plays its home games at Hank McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta, Georgia as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 20–13, 8–8 in ACC play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the ACC women's tournament where they lost to Louisville. They were invited to the Women's National Invitation Tournament which they defeated Mercer in the first round before losing to Tulane in the second round. 2015–16 media All Yellow Jackets games will air on the Yellow Jackets IMG Sports Network. MaChelle Kay Joseph (born January 13, 1970) is an American women's basketball coach, who served as the head coach for Georgia Tech from 2003 to 2019. Life Center Academy is a private school located in Burlington in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The UTEP Miners is the name given to the sports teams of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). They are informally referred to as the Miners, UTEP, or Texas–El Paso. UTEP was a member of the Western Athletic Conference from 1967 to 2005, when they joined Rice, Tulsa, and SMU in leaving the WAC for Conference USA. The former Blume High School is a historic building in downtown Wapakoneta, Ohio, United States. It was the first exclusive home of Wapakoneta High School. Prior to that time, WHS was housed with other grades. The original part of the high school was built at a cost of $41,315. This original section was designed by local architect William M. Runkle.
