2015–16 Florida Atlantic Owls Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Florida Atlantic Owls men's basketball team represented Florida Atlantic University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Owls, led by second year head coach Michael Curry, played their home games at the FAU Arena, and were members of Conference USA. They finished the season 8–25, 5–13 in C-USA play to finish in a tie for 12th place. They defeated UTSA in the first round of the C-USA tournament to advance to the second round where they lost to Old Dominion. Previous season The Owls finished the 2014–15 season 9–20, 2–16 in C-USA play to finish in last place. They failed to qualify for the C-USA tournament. Michael Curry (basketball)
Michael Edward Curry (born August 22, 1968) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He is currently an assistant coach for the Vanderbilt Commodores. Curry played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1993 to 2005. He later served as head coach of the Detroit Pistons. Playing career A 6'5" guard/ forward from Glenn Hills High School in Augusta, Georgia, and Georgia Southern University, Curry played eleven seasons (1993–1994 through 2004–2005) in the National Basketball Association as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, the Washington Bullets, the Detroit Pistons, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Toronto Raptors and the Indiana Pacers. The Nebraska Cornhuskers men's basketball team represents the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in the Big Ten Conference of NCAA Division I. The program's first year of competition was 1897, and NU has since compiled an all-time record of 1,535–1,417, with seven NCAA tournament and sixteen NIT appearances.
