English Football League System
The English football league system, also known as the football pyramid, is a series of interconnected leagues for men's association football clubs in England, with five teams from Wales, one from Guernsey, one from Jersey and one from the Isle of Man also competing. The system has a hierarchical format with promotion and relegation between leagues at different levels, allowing even the smallest club the theoretical possibility of ultimately rising to the very top of the system, the Premier League. Below that are levels 2–4 organised by the English Football League, then the National League System from levels 5–10 administered by the FA, and thereafter feeder leagues run by relevant county FAs on an ''ad hoc'' basis. Simon Makienok
Simon Makienok Christoffersen (; born 21 November 1990) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Danish Superliga club AC Horsens. Born in Næstved, Makienok began his professional career at Herfølge Boldklub, which later became HB Køge, making his debut in 2009, before joining Brøndby IF in January 2012 for a fee of €550,000. After a two-and-a-half year spell at Brøndby, where the club barely avoided relegation, he was signed by Italian club Palermo for a fee reported to be €2.3 million in August 2014. Palermo then loaned him out to English sides Charlton Athletic and Preston North End, before he signed with Dutch side FC Utrecht in 2017. Jordan Paul Cousins (born 6 March 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Cambridge United. Born in England, he represents the Jamaica national team. Cousins began his career with Charlton Athletic, breaking into the first team in 2013–14 after progressing thorough their academy. Mouhamadou-Naby Sarr (born 13 August 1993) is a French professional footballer who plays as centre back for Al-Markhiya.
