2015 World Rally Championship-3
The 2015 FIA World Rally Championship-3 is the third season of the World Rally Championship-3, an auto racing championship recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, running in support of the World Rally Championship. It was created when the Group R class of rally car was introduced in 2013. The Championship is composed by thirteen Rallies, and Drivers and Teams must nominate a maximum of six event. The best five results will be counted towards the championship. World Rally Championship-3
The FIA WRC3 is a support championship of the World Rally Championship. The calendar consists of the same rallies and stages as the parent series and crews usually compete immediately after WRC2 entrants. Entry into WRC3 is limited to cars that are based on production models and homologated under Group Rally3 rules, although prior to 2022 Group Rally2 cars were used. There are championship titles awarded to drivers and co-drivers. The current format of the series began in 2020. History The original incarnation of the series began in 2013 and was open to two-wheel drive cars competing under Group R1, R2 and R3 regulations. It ran until 2018 before it was cancelled when all WRC championships became four wheel drive with the exception of Junior WRC. The Rally de Portugal (formerly: Rallye de Portugal) is a rally competition held in Portugal. First held in 1967, the seventh running of the race, the 7Âș TAP Rallye de Portugal was the third event in the inaugural FIA World Rally Championship in 1973. Jari Huttunen (born 28 February 1994) is a Finnish rally driver from Kiuruvesi. He currently competes in the World Rally Championship-2, the premier support category of the World Rally Championship, for M-Sport Ford World Rally Team.
