Korey Dropkin (born June 11, 1995) is an American curler originally from Southborough, Massachusetts. Curling career Juniors As a junior curler, Dropkin won three United States Junior Curling Championships, playing third for brother Stephen in 2012 and skipping in 2013 and 2016 while curling at Broomstones Curling Club in Wayland, MA. As such, he played for the United States at the World Junior Curling Championships, finishing 5th at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships and 7th at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships. Dropkin was a member of the U.S. team at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics, skipping a team that included Sarah Anderson, Thomas Howell and Taylor Anderson. Sarah Anderson (born February 25, 1995) is an American curler from Broomall, Pennsylvania. Along with her twin sister Taylor, she was United States National Champion in 2019 and World Junior silver medalist in 2016. Career Juniors Anderson was a member of Team USA at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics, playing third on the team, which was skipped by Korey Dropkin. They finished in fifth place. In the mixed doubles event, Anderson was paired with South Korea's Go Ke-on. They lost their only match. Anderson won the 2015 and 2016 United States Junior Curling Championships playing third for Cory Christensen. Öznur Polat (born December 12, 1987) is a Turkish curler and curling coach. She currently plays third on the Turkish National Women's Curling Team skipped by Dilşat Yıldız. Career Polat was admitted to the Turkish women's national team in 2010, while still in juniors. At the junior level, she skipped the Turkish team to a winless 0–9 record at the 2011 Winter Universiade. She fared well in the European C Division from 2010 to 2012, qualifying Turkey into the B Division in both 2010 and 2012. She took over as skip of the team from 2013 to 2015, before Dilşat Yıldız took over skipping duties for the team, moving Polat to third. Marc Otida Pfister (born 26 September 1989) is a Swiss–Filipino curler from Schalunen. Curling career As a junior curler, Pfister played third for Switzerland (skipped by David Bartschiger) at the 2009 World Junior Curling Championships, where they finished sixth. Pfister competed at the 2015 Ford World Men's Curling Championship in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, as skip for the Swiss national curling team. The Swiss team had a great start at the tournament, but lost their last five games. These last five consecutive losses placed the young Swiss team at 5–6 after the round robin, finishing 7th. Carole Howald (born 29 March 1993 in Langenthal) is a Swiss curler from Langenthal. She currently plays second on Team Silvana Tirinzoni. Career Howald joined the Binia Feltscher rink at lead in 2017. She previously played with Melanie Barbezat and with this rink won the 2014 Dumfries Curling Challenge. They played in three Grand Slams in her first season with the team, qualifying in one of them, the 2017 Boost National. She got to play in her first official World Championship at the 2018 World Women's Curling Championship after being the alternate at her previous three appearances. Petr Dmitrievich Dron (russian: Пётр Дмитриевич Дрон; born 28 August 1985 in Saint Petersburg) is a Russian curler and curling coach. He lives in St. Petersburg.
