The 2015 World Judo Juniors Championships was an edition of the World Judo Juniors Championships, organised by the International Judo Federation. It was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from 23 to 27 October 2015. The final day of competition featured men's and women's team events, both won by team Japan. World Judo Juniors Championships
The World Judo Juniors Championships are the highest level of international judo competition for juniors, 21 years of age or less. The championships are held once every year (except the years when the Olympics take place) by the International Judo Federation, and qualified judoka compete in their respective categories as representatives of their home countries. The World Junior Championships are the only junior event awarding ranking points for the seniors world ranking list. Nikoloz Sherazadishvili ( ka, ნიკოლოზ შერაზადიშვილი; born 19 February 1996) is a Georgian-born, Spanish judoka. Early life Sherazadishvili began training in the sports of Judo and Water Polo at the age of 10, and immigrated to Madrid, Spain with his parents at the age of 14, he then decided to focus on Judo, where he would enter a club ran by former-Olympian, Joaquín "Quino" Ruiz, in Brunete, just outside Madrid. Sherazadishvili was granted Spanish citizenship in 2014, so he could begin competing under the Spanish flag. Judo career 2018 In April 2018, Sherazadishvili competed at the 2018 European Judo Championships in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he would successfully win a bronze medal. Beka Gviniashvili (born 26 October 1995) is a Georgian judoka who became European Junior Champion in 2013, 2014, and 2015 and won the World Junior Championships in 2013 in Ljubljana and in 2015 in Abu Dhabi and EYOF in 2011. He also became the U23 European Championship in 2016 in Tel Aviv. With the Georgian Juniors, he won the World and European titles. He is a promising rising judoka.
