The 2016 U-19 Asia Rugby Championship is an international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams in Asia. The winners will secure a berth at the 2017 World Rugby Under 20 Trophy. Top division The top division will be hosted by Malaysia from 11–17 December 2016. Division 1 Division 1 was hosted by the Philippines at the International School Manila in Taguig from 14–17 December 2016. The winner was promoted to the top division. References

2016 World Rugby Under 20 Trophy
The 2016 World Rugby Under 20 Trophy was the ninth annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams, second-tier world championship. The event was held in Harare, Zimbabwe and was organized by rugby's governing body, World Rugby. Venue The championship was held in Harare. Qualifying As the host nation, Zimbabwe qualified automatically, as did Samoa for being relegated from 2015 World Rugby Under 20 Championship. Yio Chu Kang Stadium
Yio Chu Kang Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. It has a seating capacity of 2,000. It is run by Sport Singapore and was opened to the public on 1 April 1985. It is a rugby specific stadium with 8-lane running track. History In December 2015, Hong Kong played against Singapore during the 2015 U-19 Asia Rugby Championship held at the stadium. The Singapore side lost the game 10-61. On 7 December 2019, the Special Olympics South-east Asia Unified 5-a-side Football Tournament kicked off in Singapore at the stadium seven years after its inauguration.
